After a two-hour drive, we arrived at the Midnight Pack. The driver honked at a massive black gate, and two armed guards emerged from behind it. They approached the car, and Alpha Nathan rolled down the window. The moment they saw him, they bowed deeply and moved to open the gate without hesitation.
Our car drove into the compound, followed by the guards accompanying Nathan's men. Nathan didn’t wait for anyone to open his door; he stepped out himself. I opened my door as well and climbed out of the car. The afternoon sun hit my skin, making me swallow hard as I took in the gigantic building before us.
