The first thing I felt upon waking was the softness beneath me. My eyelids fluttered open, and I realized I was lying on a bed—far too comfortable to be mine. My gaze darted around the room, and I realized I was in Alpha Nathan's room. Panicked, I sat on the bed and looked around again, but there was no Alpha Nathan. The room was empty. Confused, I tried to recall how I got into his bed because the last thing I remembered was lying on the floor after having s*x with Alpha Nathan and then drifting to sleep. How then did I get on his bed? Did he carry me, or did I sleepwalk to it? No! I shook my head. I don’t sleepwalk. Perhaps he made me lie on his bed. But why would he do that? He could have just sent me away.
