Lisa's POV The forest blurred around me as Cain dragged me toward the retreating warriors. I kicked, screamed, and clawed at his arms, my tears blinding me. My heart felt like it was being ripped from my chest as Nathan's form disappeared into the shadows. “Put me down!” I shrieked, pounding my fists against Cain’s back. “We can’t leave him!
