Alpha Nathan’s POV
James walked into my room and bowed slightly. “Just like you requested, two hundred are ready. Also, Cain and Collins are with the warriors. We are all waiting for you,” James announced. I nodded but was still deep in thought. I had a dream last night, and it felt so real.
“Alpha Nathan?” James spoke up, pulling me out of my thoughts.
I glanced back at him. He looked worried.
“Are you okay?” he asked.
“I’m fine,” I said quickly, though I wasn’t sure I believed it. There wasn’t time to think about dreams right now. Two hundred warriors were waiting, and we had a mission. “Where are Cain and Collins?”
“They’re with the warriors,” James replied. “They’re ready, just like you asked. Cain and Collins are waiting at the front.”
