I scrambled to leave the bed, but he was faster. Before I could get away, he pinned me to the bed with ease. My breath hitched as his body pressed against mine, his heat seeping into my chilled skin.
“Alpha Nathan, get off!” I snapped, wriggling beneath him.
He smirked, his face so close I could feel his breath against my cheek. “Not until you admit you were enjoying this.”
“Enjoying what?” I shot back, glaring up at him.
“This.” His voice dropped to a whisper, and his gaze flicked to my lips. The playful glint in his eyes deepened, turning darker, more intense.
