    As far back as I can remember the world has always run this way. You have your primary gender Male or Female and then you have a secondary gender. this was the gender that really mattered. The one that made it possible for you to get jobs; the one that placed you in the best school or stuck on the side of the road selling yourself to the very thing your parents did. This secondary gender I am talking about is not like in the fanfictions of the past where you had an alpha, beta or omega, No these came into existence with the cure of all Major diseases.  The first symptom of the drug was an increase in hostility in some children while others ran away from confrontations. Next was some people dreams or worst nightmare, the characteristic of animals from better eyesight to enhanced seances of smell some people even regrew body parts, but what we didn't know was that each form of the drug was different and the characteristics deepened on the animal whose blood went into the vaccine. Then what happened next is so graphic that the story that they have in history books barley tells the truth but it involved a man Caecilius Predator who experienced the true nature of his animal, no we are not were-animals we just share enough DNA for them to be distant cousins he ended up ruining the life of one Misses Elizabeth Prey who was the woman who helped to get the vaccine out to everyone. they went to court as you know and she won and a new law has implemented the Prey over Predator Law and this is where that secondary gender came in. Since in the beginning, you couldn't really tell who was who until after puberty everyone went to school together until the ages of 12 through 16 when most people hit it. some people who were outgoing shied away from the slightest sight of conflict and when the ears manifest you could really tell what animal blood they had in them some were lucky and had passive-aggressive animals in them but others weren't. we go forward ten to twenty years and those kids who were mentioned before have kids but only in the same animal group which changed the class divide forever. it first started of prey, predator, and neutral. but then they decided it didn't matter if you had the blood of a house cat or if it was a lion they both eat meat so they are both predators which got rid of the third sub gender and brought it down to just prey and predator. They finally had a chance to put that law from almost 30 years ago into effect. The law helped many people but it was also a law that allowed discrimination. The subclass prey was usually held by a rich white citizen; they used the law in their favor causing almost all predator owned business to be shut down, while also bringing forth the calming pill law where all predators be it, man, woman or child would be given opioid drugs to use as a sedative. The new law did not stop there, the prey school act of 2072 allowed the schools to not let predators in, which led to fewer predator jobs and dropped the predator literacy rate. The year was 2109 when the first generation of "shifters" appeared. they are what you would call werewolves. they were able to fully tap into their animal sides without having the limit and repercussions as everyone else. they also brought in a new set of laws to benefit oppressing predators even more. They first redefined the sub-gender and made it the first gender. Male and female were now the sub-gender. they also changed the way you would be classed as either Prey or Predator, and I quote "A prey is a person whose animal would have been eaten in the wild against a predators animal. to protect our prey citizens is our first and lawful right as the ushers of the new world order. The subclass of prey will also help where you fall in life. A predator is a person who has no control over the beast that is inside their body. We want to keep them safe by keeping them calm. All calming pill shall become higher dose and predators only towns shall be built to ensure no prey get hurt."
