Chapter 5 - The First Kiss

“The winner of today’s competition is Miss Elen Harold from Shadow Pack. Let’s give her around of applause” the Beta of Midnight Pack announced, the audiences clapped unconsciously.

“Our Twin Alphas would like to announce something” Meta Mike said after the clap stopped. The audiences are silently waiting for the Twin Alphas’ announcement

“Thank you everyone for attending the competition, our birthday’s event. Congratulations to everyone who participated and even our warriors lost in today’s competition, but we are happily accept it and congratulate the winner, Elen Harold, our mate” Alpha Ryan said while smiling.

The arena once again filled with silence but soon they screamed and clapped for as the Twin Alphas found their mate now. But some are not happy especially those she-wolves, as the Twin Alphas’ mate and the future Midnight Pack’s Luna is just a human.

Elen sneaking away behind the Twin Alphas, but Alpha Rex turns his head and look at her and growls lightly.

“Where do you think you’re going?” he coldly asked

“Somewhere without your presence” Elen said while smirking then she runs but Alpha Rex runs in front of her using his wolf speed and he tightly pulled her wrist

“You’re going nowhere without us” He said angrily then he pulled her outside the Arena.

They went to the Midnight Pack House and straightly went to his room. He let Elen to sit in his bed before he gets a cold pack and place it to Elen’s cheeks. Alpha Rex lowered his head to see the whole face of Elen, but Elen stopped him.

“Don’t” she said and sigh “I’ll show you my face once your twin arrives”

Alpha Rex no longer forces to see her face and he stands straight. Just then, the door opened, Alpha Ryan entered the room and hugs Elen.

“Are you okay, mate?” he asked then looks at the cheeks of Elen. The trace of punch impact almost gone which confuses him because human can’t heal their wound in just some time, but he ignored it and didn’t ask any question at her.

“Show us your face now” Alpha Rex impatiently demanded.

Elen chuckles as his mate is such an impatiently person just like her. The Twin froze on their feet as it feels like a music in their ears.

Elen closes her eyes and slowly removes her hood, her shiny black long hair appeared, she then slowly raises her head. The Twin Alphas are mesmerized when they saw the whole figure of Elen’s face. She’s a beauty, a goddess! Both Alphas thought. And they were more captivated when Elen, opened her eyes. Unlike when other wolves look at her eyes, they see a deep-black eyes and feel like drowning, the Twin Alphas see a pair of shining deep-black eyes.

She stands up and walks forward to her mates and whispered to them

“Satisfied?” then she smiled sweetly.

She’s about to leave the room but Alpha Rex pulled her again and she landed to his chest.

“You will never leave us again, mate. You’re not allowed to go anywhere” Alpha Rex said then he let a small growl. Elen secretly rolled her eyes.

“Hey, don’t scare our mate” Alpha Ryan said then he pulled Elen into his arms “Don’t mind him, Elen. He’s just scared that you will leave us will not return. Where do you want to go? I’ll go with you” he said while smiling at Elen sweetly

Elen felt her heartbeat skipped for a bit. She was captivated by his smile. The mate bond is starting to hit her.

“I’m going home” she answered plainly

“This is your home now!” Alpha Rex said behind her

“My twin is right, Elen. This is your home now and sooner or later you will be the Luna of our pack” Alpha Ryan explained to her calmly.

“Then, come with me and visit my pack especially my father” Elen said defeatedly as if she can do something to stop these two mates of her

“Then we’ll go now” Alpha Rex said, and he got out of his room. Elen fixed her hood first before they followed him until they reached their car.

After they entered the car, the driver started the engine and drove the car bound to the Shadow Pack land. No one broke the silence inside the car, but Elen wrapped her arms in Alpha Ryan’s arms and leaned her head in his shoulder. Ryan smiled at their mate’s action, he peeked at her face seeing her sleeping. While Rex is looking at them with jealousy, maybe he was too cold at her. But he can’t help because it’s really his personality, she should be thankful that he speaks longer than the usual and his one-word. Ryan saw him staring at them, then he felt guilty, he thought he got their mate’s full attention. Rex just looked away and looked outside the window.

After an hour of their travelling, they finally arrived at Shadow Pack. The Alpha personally welcome them when they came out of the car.

“Welcome, Alphas. It’s an honor to have you in our pack land.” Alpha Fritz said then he bowed to the Twin Alphas, and the pack members bowed at them too.

“We’re just here to officially ask permission to get your daughter, Alpha Fritz. As you heard earlier from our announcement, she is our mate. And she wants us to ask for your permission before she move in our pack” Alpha Ryan coldly explain as if he’s not asking for permission but ordering Alpha Fritz

“It’s okay, Alpha Ryan. You don’t need to ask for my permission, I can’t disobey the Moon Goddess for giving my daughter to both of you as your mate” Alpha Fritz said smiling.

Alpha Ryan looks at Elen

“You heard your Father, Elen. So, shall we go now?” Alpha Ryan asked, Elen just rolled her eyes and nodded at him, and turned her back ready to leave but her Father spoke.

“Are you not going to say something to your Father?” Alpha Fritz said controlling his irritation.

“Psh, as if we’re close, my dear Father. This is what you want right? To disappear from your pack because you still can’t accept me” Elen said without looking at her father, then she continues to walk and enter the car. The Twin Alphas just followed her without saying anything else.

Alpha Fritz felt guilty as he did not even able to show to her daughter how he cares about her and loves her. He didn’t able to tell her that he did not blame her for her mother’s death.

Elen leaned again her head against Alpha Ryan’s shoulder and closed her eyes. Alpha Ryan held her hand while another hand gently massages her hair. While Alpha Rex just let a deep breath as he saw how Elen became close with his twin immediately.

‘Does she hate me?’ Alpha Rex thought

‘It’s your fault, she’s our mate but you were too cold at her’ his wolf said

He cannot argue with it because what his wolf said was true. He looks away from his Twin and mate. He wishes that he will have a moment with his mate just like his twin.

‘Maybe I really need to change for her if I want her attention’ he thought

They finally returned to their pack, but Elen is still sleeping.

“You can carry her to her room, Rex” Ryan said to his twin while smiling. Rex just nodded at him and carry Elen to her room.

When they entered the room, he put down Elen to her bed. He sat beside her and removed her hoody from her head then he gently touched her face. He can’t stop himself, but he lowered his head near Elen’s, and slowly approach her lips. After he reached her lips, he moved his lips, but to his surprised, Elen responded to his kiss. Elen was already awake the moment Rex carried her from the car, and just pretended to be asleep.

Rex deepens the kiss, and Elen moans against his lips. Rex took the opportunity to enter his tongue to Elen’s mouth. Their tongues fight for dominance, keeping their lips locked together then Elen wraps her arms into Rex’ back neck.

“I’m sorry” Rex said between their kisses.

“Hmmm” Elen moaned

Rex slides his hand from Elen’s neck into her side waistline. He entered his hand inside her shirt, and touches her belly then cups her breast.

“Mmm, mate” Elen moaned.

Rex continued to massage her breast while still kissing her, then his lips going lower to her neck. He kissed her neck and licked it. Elen just realized the place he’s licking is the place where mate’s mark should place. After realizing, what Rex is thinking, she pushed him and put her hoody to hide her neck from him.

“Sh*t, sorry” Rex said, and he hugs Elen.

Elen let out a deep breathe as she almost carried away from the sensation and almost got one of her mates’ mark.

“It’s okay, just control yourself next time” Elen said, and she returned his hug.

Rex removes her hoody again and hold her cheeks

“Why are you hiding your face? You’re beautiful” he said while staring at her eyes

“Nothing, I just don’t want them to see my face” she plainly answered

“If that’s what you want, but if we’re just alone. Remove it, okay?” he said, and Elen just nodded at him

“Come, let us introduce our selves properly then we’ll eat dinner” Rex said, and they get up from the bed

They soon reached the Alphas’ office and they saw Ryan in his chair reading some reports. But when he smells them, he looked up at the door and saw them staring at him. He smiled at them and got up from his chair.

“You’re awake, mate” Ryan happily said, Elen just smiled at him

“Let’s introduce ourselves properly, I’ll start. I’m Alpha Rex Darius, the oldest”

“I’m Alpha Ryan Darius, he’s just older for a minute from me. Welcome to Midnight Pack, mate, and soon-to-be Luna”

“I’m Elen Harold, nice meeting you mates”

“Again, I’m sorry for my attitude earlier” Rex said

“It’s alright, I understand”

“We’re happy we finally found you, mate” Ryan said while smiling then he hugs Elen. She returned his hug and gently pat his back

“Is it fine with you if we introduce you later to the pack?” Rex asked Elen

“It’s fine with me”

“Good, let’s eat first then we will ask the pack members to gather at the hall” Rex said then he smiled slightly.

“You should smile more, you’re more handsome when you smile Rex” Elen said which made Rex froze but he nodded, and he looked away as Elen keep on smiling at him.

Ryan just shakes his head and smiles seeing how his twin behave. He grabs the hand of Elen then walks outside the office. When they entered the dining area, the foods are already set in the dining table. He pulls the chair for Elen, and Elen smiled at him before sitting. The Twin already sit in their chair, and they silently eat. In the middle of eating, Rex put a piece of meat in Elen’s plate. Elen looked at him, but he just nodded at her, she just shrugged and eat the meat.

‘He can still be a sweet person; he just doesn’t want the enemies see it and use it against him’ Elena suddenly appeared and spoke in Elen’s mind

‘You! I’m still not done at you!’

‘Eyyy~ I’m sorry, Elen. Okay? Forgive me now, I didn’t mean to distract you and get a punch from your opponent. I’m just excited to see my mates’

‘I told you to stay with Moon Goddess and train harder, but you didn’t listen!’

‘I already said sorry, okieee??? I just want to see them, though I still can’t see my wolves’ mate’ Elena sadly said

‘You will see them at the right time. Just train harder, so when the time comes you need to fight against the enemies, you will be stronger than everyone. Got that?’

‘Yes, Queen’ Elena defeatedly said

‘Elena! What I told you for calling me that?!’

‘Geez, fine. I’ll leave now. Our mates are calling you for how many times now’

“Sorry, did you say something?” Elen said after her conversation with her wolf

“Are you okay? You were dazed out, and we’re calling you, but you did not response” Ryan worriedly said

“Sorry, I just remember something. I’ll take a rest first. Just call me when it’s time for me to introduce myself to your pack.”

“Our pack is yours too, Elen” Rex said using his serious tone. Elen just nodded at him then she left the dining area.
