Chapter 6 - Alphas' Marks

Elen is getting ready for meeting the pack members of Midnight Pack. She’s wearing a red 2-inch above the knee sleeveless dress. The dress is fitted which shows her perfect curve. She also wears a hat to hide her half face. She let her straight long black hair to fall at her back. She put red lip tint and light red blush on.

*knock… knock… knock…

“Babe, are you ready?” one of the twins

“Yeah, coming Ryan” Elen said then she walks toward her door and open it. She saw Ryan standing there smiling at her while checking her body.

Elen can easily distinguish whose Ryan and Rex based on their scents and because Ryan is a talkative one and has a sweet voice to her, while Rex still has his cold voice though he tries to change it for her.

“You’re really beautiful, babe” Ryan said, and he kissed her cheeks. Elen just smiled at him

Ryan still didn’t know that Rex already claimed her first kiss, if he knew it, he will not only kiss Elen in her cheeks but will kiss her in lips without hesitation. Ryan just don’t want Elen to feel awkward if he rushes their relationship.

“Shall we?” Ryan asked, and he offered his arm. Elen took it and clung on it. They headed to the hall of pack house. The pack members are patiently waiting for them, while Rex is waiting in the downstair. In just a minute, Ryan and Elen appeared upstairs, the pack members watched them walk down the stairs. When they arrived at downstair, Rex offered his hand to Elen, and Elen took it.

Ryan grabs the microphone and spoke

“Good evening everyone, thank you for attending this sudden gathering. Some of you already knew this lady beside us, and already heard the announce we made this morning. But we want to officially introduce to all of you, Elen Harold, the daughter of Alpha Fritz Harold. Our mate, your future Luna”

The pack members clapped

“Anyone can ask a question your future Luna” Ryan additionally said, then someone raised her hand

“Yes, Ms Ysa?”

“Is she a human, Alpha? She smells human” Ysa asked bravely

“Yes, she’s a human. Do you have a problem with that Ms. Ysa?” Ryan said coldly

“N-nothing, Alpha” Ysa answered while she lowered her head, and she formed her fist.

“Good, I don’t want to hear anything about our mate being just a human, your nothing to her” Ryan said in serious tone “Any questions?” he asked again then another she-wolf raise her hand

“Yes?”

“Why is she hiding her face, Alpha?” the girl asked curiously, and the other pack members nodded their head agreeing to the girl’s question

Ryan and Rex growl and everyone lowered their head.

“It’s fine” finally, Elen spoke. The pack members raise their head and stare at Elen

“They said curiosity kills the cat, so I’ll give what you want. Don’t ever stare in my eyes or else you shall bear the consequences” Elen said coldly, she closed her eyes then she slowly removed her hat, she raises her head and open her eyes. She looks at them.

The pack members gasped when they saw the face of Elen. They were mesmerized by her beauty, but then suddenly, the pack members panic as some of the pack members collapsed because they stare for too long at her eyes.

“I warned you don’t look at my eyes, or else bear the consequence” Elen said, the rest of the pack members looked away from her not wanting to experience what happened to their co-members.

The Twin Alphas loudly growled as they heard it. The whole pack kneeled down for submission to their Alpha.

“Who dared to said that our mate is a monster?!” Ryan angrily said but no one answered him which made them both angrier and growled again.

Elen hold their hand to calm them, but they just tightened their grip like they are holding something hard. Elen felt their grip, so she released her hand from them. They are still growling and glaring to their pack members who are still on the ground kneeling down. Elen sigh as she can’t think of anything else to calm them but to this action.

She first approached Ryan, then she tiptoed as both of them are taller than her. She kissed Ryan in his lips, and it made him stop growling. Ryan looked at Elen’s eyes surprised to what she did. Elen stopped kissing him and smiled at him before she approaches Rex who is still growling. They’re fighting with their wolf inside; their wolf wants to shift and kill that person who said their mate is a monster. Just like Elen did to Ryan, she kissed Rex. It took too long to calm Rex, but when he realized that Elen is kissing him, he pulled her body into him, and deepens the kiss. Elen did not stop him, but she response to his kiss. Elen pushed Rex to make him stop, then she heads to Ryan’s position to ease his jealousy. The pack members saw the whole scenario, and they were astounded by how their future Luna able to calm their beast Alphas. They all let out a sigh of relief. Those pack members near the person who said those words glared at her.

“The next time whoever say something we didn’t like to our mate, ready yourselves to taste the consequences. Respect your Luna just like how all of you respect us, are we clear?!” Rex angrily shouted at them

“Yes, Alpha!” all pack members said

“All of you may leave now!” Ryan said, and the pack members left one by one.

“What happened? Why can’t they stare to your eyes? Your eyes are beautiful, they’re shining like a gem” Ryan said while his one hand is in her cheeks and he’s staring at her eyes.

“Who really are you, Elen? What are you?” Rex seriously asked behind her

“I can’t tell both of you for now, but can you trust me? I promise, I will not do anything that will hurt both of you and the pack” Elen said

“How can we sure you will not hurt us?” Rex asked

“Because both of you are my mates, I can’t hurt my mates”

“But you don’t feel the bond even if you hurt us, you’re a human” Ryan said

“Are you not believing what your pack member said? I’m a monster” Elen said while grinning. The twins both growled at her as they don’t want to hear the word monster for describing their mate.

“You still didn’t answer my first question, why they can’t stare at your eyes? Why they collapse just by staring?” Ryan asked again while calming himself

“Do you want to see it? But don’t blame me for what will happen” Elen said coldly

She didn’t wait Ryan to answer her. She closed her eyes, and when she opens it, she stares at Ryan’s eyes intently. Ryan was shocked to see her eyes, it was different. The shine of her eyes disappeared, and it looks like a deep black ocean. After staring at her eyes for so long, he felt losing his breath. He grabs his chest and kneels down.

“Stop it, Elen!” Rex grabbed her when he noticed his twin struggles to breathe.

Elen closed her eyes again. She inhaled deeply then she kissed Ryan and gave him oxygen. When she thinks she gave him enough oxygen to breathe normal again, she distanced herself from him. Ryan is now catching his breathe while his hand is in the ground supporting him.

“Come, I’ll just help you. It’s your fault anyway, I already told everyone earlier, curiosity kills the cat. See what happened to you. Anyways, sleep with me tonight as compensation to what happened to you” she said that made Ryan smile.

“What about me?” Rex asked behind her

“Okay fine, you too” with that, Rex smiled secretly and followed them walk upstairs

“I’ll take a shower first, both of you clean yourselves too on your own room, then just go in my room after. Shoo, shoo” Elen said while gesturing her hand before she entered her room. The Twin Alphas just shook their head and went to their own room to clean their selves as what their mate told them.

Elen leaned on her door after she closed it and grabbed her chest.
