I went to the waterfall to take a bath and clear my head. Naomi said the pool there was a nice, relaxing spot. I sent the maid away, wanting to be alone. I undressed and got into the river, surprised by how warm it was. I stayed under the water for a while before coming up.My pregnancy was already bulging out; I was going to have my first baby in a few months, and they wanted me to risk it all.I missed Jayden and wanted to hold him, but not if it meant risking my child. It didn’t seem fair.
