VALERIE’S POV.
“Great job today, Valerie! You nailed those poses.” the photographer said as he dimmed the studio light.
“Thanks so much!” I smiled. “It was a fun shoot. Can’t wait to see how the images turn out.”
“You will love them, I’m sure,” the photographer assured me. “Alright, pack up, and I will have the team send over the proof by tomorrow.”
I nodded, mentally preparing to unwind at home after a long day in front of the camera. I gathered my belongings, getting ready to leave the studio.
Exiting the studio, I scanned the area, but Leo was nowhere in sight. He had told me he was coming to pick me up thirty minutes earlier. I reached for my phone, shooting him a quick text to let him know I had wrapped up the shoot and would be waiting for him at the coffee shop.
