"Okay," Blair responded, fixing her gaze on the target stand. She took a deep breath, gripping the gun firmly.
"Now, pull the trigger," Piper directed. Blair followed the instruction, hitting the target stand a few inches from the marked area.
Piper nodded. "Not bad, but you can do better."
“Try focusing more on your breathing and maintaining a steady grip,” Piper suggested.“And remember to squeeze the trigger gently; don’t jerk it.”
"Remind me again why we need to be practicing how to shoot a gun; I think we might never need it," Blair said, her frown deepening as she lowered the gun to her side.
