Rayan Kelvin stared out the window of his cramped cubicle, watching the rain patter against the glass. Another dreary day in the fluorescent-lit office of Suro Industries, where he spent his days crunching numbers and attending endless meetings. At 28 years old, Rayan had a decent job, a steady pay check, and a comfortable apartment shared with his girlfriend, Sarah. By all accounts, he was living the dream - or at least, the dream his parents and peers had laid out for him. But as Rayan tapped his pen absentmindedly on the stack of reports in front of him, he couldn't shake the growing sense of unease that had been gnawing at him for months.
