Chapter 2

I turn off the dryer leaving my hair just slightly damp, I'll let the rest dry on its own. It's just another day, it's almost exactly as the day before, but even now after I've finished my routine I feel different. Why is it on this day I don't feel numb. Back in my room I check the clock and it reads five thirty, I grab my phone off of my night stand, this the part that's gotten harder over the years. I take a deep breath readying myself, outside Sasuke's door I listen for signs that hopefully he's awake. Nothing. With as much force as I can I fling his door open. Sasuke's in bed his sheets tangled around him, his blanket on the floor, " Get up! Get up! Any guy whose in his bed right now will be sacrificed!" Sasuke rolls over his deep brown eyes pointed at me like a hawk whose seen its prey, " Sis if you don't leave I--" before he can finish I start snapping pictures one after the other. I've prepared new methods for battle, I'll have to thank Takeru for this one. "Wh-what are you? Stop already!" "You'll have to get up Sasuke." He rolls to a sitting position and smirks at me, " Okay, now I'll delete these so long as you get to school on time for once." Sasuke only crosses his arms, " You can keep 'em sis, it's weird, but I guess I can let it slide." He's such a smart ass I really can't see why he doesn't like to go to school, but he'll go today, walking towards him I lean in close and quietly whisper, " Oh how tempting. Better yet you'll be on time or I'll post these." I straighten myself so I can see his face, he seems confused and the tips of his ears start to turn red. So he's either embarrassed or angry, to my surprise he just gets up and leaves without a complaint if only every day was this easy, " Breakfast is in the microwave, and don't forget to wake up Miho." I add as I walk into the hallway, " I've got to leave early so I'll see you guys after school." Grabbing my purse from the coat rack I check my phone and see only twenty percent chance of rain so I shouldn't need an umbrella. " Hey Saya do you have the money for the dojo?" Sasuke mutters as he passes me on his way to the kitchen, " Sorry I didn't have time to get it last night. Don't worry though I'll stop by and pay it on my way home." Sasuke glared at me with those predatory eyes, clearly calculating something in his head, " You said you would get it last night." " I know I'm sorry." The tips of his ears start to redden, " You never do what you say." He mumbled as he turned and marched away. I only watched him for a moment, too hurt and shocked to say anything, so I did what I always do. I ignored his words and left for work.
