MATT pulled away and frowned at her. "Did I do something wrong, Thea?" His hand move to touch her face but she shove it away.
She bit her lower lip and shook her head. "No. I won't let you touch me." Nilampasan niya ang binata at naglakad patungo sa table niya.
Akala niya tatantanan na siya ni Matt pero sinundan siya nito patungo sa mesa niya. "Bakit? Explain to me why you won't let me touch you."
Ipinilig niya ang ulo. "Ayoko. Naalala ko pa ang mga sinabi mo sa'kin noon, Matt."
Realization dawn on Matt's face. "I'm sorry." He said like he was choking. Parang hindi ito sanay na humihingi ng tawad. "It was insensitive of me to say those things to you. And I lied; I like you more than Odette. I really do. And what just happened in the conference room prove it all."
Pagak siyang tumawa.
