He kissed my cheeks.
He's such a cute man...damn, the fact that he came to apologize says it all.
I thought you promised to get me clothes, I asked him while holding his cheeks.
“Your clothes are way too short on me and oversized.”
He chuckled. “I love the size..at least I see them.”
Wait, was this what you wore to the market?
I nodded and he frowned. “Why? What if someone sees you that way?”
“But you said it’s okay on me!”
He held my waist. “It’s okay in my eyes, but not in any lustful person's eyes. I should be the only one to see you this way,” he muttered.
Is that jealousy at its peak that I’m seeing? I smirked, asking him.
“Whatever you want to take it as,” he whispered.
“Can I ask you a question, Ryv?” He looked at me, waiting for my reply.
“Sure you can.”
“Please be sincere with me and don’t lie,” he said with pleading eyes.
I nodded.
“Tell me about yourself,” he blurted as if the words were being forced out of his mouth.
What the hell? I thought you’re an Alpha? You know a lot about me, so why this sudden question?
He frowned slightly. “Are you telling me or not?”
“I’m not, Drexel. You know me already...so what do you need to know exactly?” This was confusing as hell.
He sighed. “Ryv, do you have a twin?”
I coughed immediately. “Yes I do. What happened?”
His expression turned into a cute smile like he had been waiting to hear this.
“Where’s she? What’s her name? Does she stay in your house?” He asked in one go.
“Relax, Drex...one at a time,” I said. “What do you need my twin for? Or are you tired of me?”
He frowned. “No, I’m just curious. You know, maybe someone who looks like you.”
“Wait, Drex, don’t tell me you’re cheating on me! With my lookalike? Wait, that’s even if I have one. Who’s she? Tell me!”
He looked at me laughing. “Jeez, Vessa, calm down. Cheating on you? Why would I do something treacherous when I’ve a cute wifey here?”
I blushed hearing the sound of what he just called me.
“Drex, what do you need my twin for?”
“Just for random business deal,” he said.
“Ohh, I guess I’ll help then!”
“Help out to do what?” he asked.
“To do the random job...since I don’t have a twin!”
“Ryvessa, are you kidding me? Stop joking if you’re! Do you have a twin or not?” He asked again.
“No,” I said this time, and he glared at me.
“So why were you lying?”
“I’m being serious, Ryvessa!”
“I just wanted to mess around. Sorry for messing with you, Drex.”
I tried to comfort him as he was about to lay down.
“Drex, are you angry with me?”
“No, I’m not.”
“Then why are you quiet?” I asked him.
“I choose to be. There’s a lot I’m dealing with right now. And jokes aren’t what I need.”
“But come here, baby...I’m not angry with you, okay.”
He dragged me, making me lay on his chest.
I touched his biceps ’cause they were pretty. He chuckled. “You like ’em?”
I nodded. “No — I love them.”
He smiled and kissed my forehead.
“When are you going to introduce me to your family?” I asked him.
He frowned immediately. “I don’t have a family,” he replied.
“Why?”
“Just switch the question, Ryv. That will be for another day.”
I nodded. “Alright.”
“What about Godmother? What if she’s in search for me?”
“She can’t do anything...not when I’m alive. Or even if I’m dead, she wouldn’t dare touch even a strand of your hair.”
I held his face. “That’s why I love my Alpha Drexie.”
He smiled and I kissed him on his lips and his cheeks. He frowned. “Why did you stop?”
“If you want to kiss me, do it properly. I hate short kisses, mi amor.”
Without wasting much time, he grabbed my chin and kissed me with passion...blending roughness and tenderness.
