I had to take a moment to process what was happening. Why is Lucas here? And what does he want to tell?
I got dressed quickly in a sweater and my jeans and I went down to see him.
It felt chilly outside, I'm glad I got my sweater but I was still a little cold.
I opened the door of my building to find Lucas leaning on his car waiting for me.
" Hi," he said I was shivering a little and I think he noticed. " Are you cold?" He got closer to me and placed his hands on both my shoulders. " Let's get inside the car to warm you up. We got inside but there was a long moment of silence before I decided to break it.
" So what did you want to talk about?"
He took a deep breath thing, maybe he was assembling his words.
"It's about what happened today" he finally said.
"What do you mean? Can you be more clear?" I was trying to get where he was heading but everything was still mysterious.
"You went on a date with Stephan, and when I saw you both there at the restaurant, I lost it"
"Why, why did you lose it?" I was trying to take small steps toward him.
"Because... You... Were with him..and not... huh not with me " as he spoke the words something exploded inside my body and I was starting to feel weak. "what I'm saying is... I hate to see you with other men." I always wanted him to say such things, however, that doesn't mean I was going to give in that fast
"Did you forget who you were with this evening or should I remind you? You too were with someone else and last time I checked I was single and free to go out with whoever I want and you have no right to ask me not to since you are doing the same thing"
" Then what am I supposed to do? Tell me." This clueless man is driving me crazy.
"You have to decide and choose what you want exactly"
He kept looking at me for a moment not saying anything then I could see his lips starting to move and I read

" I want you. You're the only thing I'm asking for"
I smiled because his words although short, made me feel like the most desired and happiest woman on Earth.
"I want you too" without second-guesses he grabbed my hand and pulled me towards him into a kiss like I never had before. This time it was different it expresses pure and high emotions, a calm and slow kiss.
We pulled apart to catch our breath.
"Go on a date with me" this caveman always manage to make me laugh
"Is that a statement or proposal?" He wasn't laughing he was serious
"It's not a proposal, you're going out with me and that's final. Because you're mine "
I hugged him so tight because in between his arms is my favorite place in the world.
"I've been waiting for you to say something like that"
He didn't answer he just stayed like that in the car, hugging each other and enjoying each other's warmth and presence.
"By the way who's that woman you were with today?" As I asked him I felt him stiff a little. There's something about her that I don't like at all.
"She's no one important. Don't worry about her" he tried to reassure me but even he was not convinced by his own words.
However I decided to leave it for now, I don't want to ruin our moment, but I'll keep digging until I find something.
"Emily. Emily. Emily woke up" I felt someone tugging me that must be Kate she always wakes me up in the most barbaric way.
"Kate shut up it's Sunday let me see..."
"Emily wake up. If you don't wake up I'm driving you to my house and you'll sleep with me" the words slapped me in the middle of my face I got up so fast, I ended up hitting my head, forgetting I was still in the car.
"s**t I'm sorry " Lucas looked very amused at that moment "stop laughing at me " I hit him in the arm while scratching my head still hurt. The hit wasn't good enough this time he started laughing out loud.
This is my first time seeing him laugh, he seemed happy. His laugh was like music to my ears I wish I could hear it forever. He looked so beautiful laughing, the only thing I could do is keep staring at him.
When he finished laughing he pulled me to him in a way that I was now sitting on his lap. His face approached mine, his fingers drawing circles on my back, his hand grabbing my thigh tightly.
His lips caressed mine and no space between our bodies. we got caught up in the heat of the moment. The fire was rising inside our bodies only amplifying our suppressed desires.
Our bodies moved on their own, our lips engaging without a stop, that moment felt endless.
I got back until dawn that night. We stayed in the car until the very last but soon sleep began hitting both of us and we decided to leave.
I went to sleep directly with my mind replaying everything that happened, it felt like a dream. And when I woke up that morning I thought I was dreaming until I saw Luca's message.
I think you're still sleeping by now I just wanted you to know that I can't stop thinking about you. Every hour, every minute, every second. Can't wait to see you again.
It won't be long before I fall in love with this man. Maybe I already did.
"Morning" I woke up at last everyone already had their breakfast and they were chilling on the couch. I went to the kitchen to grab breakfast.
"You might as well grab lunch while you're at it" I give Kate the finger. Sorry but she deserves it.
When I was done making breakfast I went to sit next to them.
"Did you do something with your face?" Kate got closer to me poking my cheek and pulling it.
"Ouch, stop it. Are crazy?"
"Lilly come check this out. I can't be the only one seeing it." She went on as if I wasn't even there. Lilly got closer. I felt like an alien Being examined.
"You're right something is different, but I don't think it's the face"
"Huh.. stop it you two "
"There's something different about you like you're.... glowing?" Lilly was going in circles around me.
"Something must've happened. Spit it" Kate is not a normal person I swear to God.
I ended up telling them everything and they were so happy, well Kate was upset at first because I didn't wake her up at night so that she can look at us from the window but after saying the kissing part she decided it was for the best that she was still asleep.
"Well since we are on the subject, there's something I want to tell you too" both Kate and I were staring at Lilly.
"What? What is it?" We were curious because it was rare to see Lilly speaking about things like this.
She wouldn't speak fast and seemed hesitant so we had to use some soft violence to get her to speak, and by that, I mean tickling.
"Okay, okay. I'll speak." She gave up finally. " So Sam and I went the other day to something like a date, and at the end, he kissed me and admitted his feelings for me"
"About f*****g time Sam" Kate's comment is truly one of their kind. But we were all excited and happy
"Wait does that mean I'm the only b***h left single? Oh, come on " this time was laughing louder.
