I arrived home, sane thank God but I was still very angry. I opened the door to his car, got out, said good night then I left. The next morning I arrived at work and tried to talk to mister Boss as little as I could, and by night time I had already arranged my ride to avoid him as much as I could. " You can leave now" I was very concentrated on work I hadn't realized that he was standing at the door. "Oh... Is it time already ?" He kept staring at me, not that I was waiting for him to answer. " Come, I'll get you home" " Actually... I already have a ride" I was very hesitant to tell him because some of his responses scare me. At first, he seemed confused but when my words settled in his facial expression changed extremely; from a blank face to a very angry one. "Who is it ?" He almost shouted " Someone I know... Not that it's any of your business" I whispered the last part. All I heard was silence, but not the good kind one, it was the one that was followed by a storm. I looked up and I could almost see flames coming out of his eyes, if looks could kill, I would be a hundred feet underground. He actually started to scare me with his silence and intense staring, I decided to get my things and get the hell out of there. I got out fast from the office before he gets the chance to do anything. I miraculously got to the front door of the company and Jake was waiting for me outside next to his car; Jake was a good friend and also our neighbor whenever we needed him, he was always there for us, so he was the only one I could ask to come and get me. Jake is nice and quite handsome with his blue eyes and blond hair of I do say some, the perfect boy next door. But he's not my type, he was always just a good friend to me. I waved at him and he waved back, he was smiling but then he was frowning looking at something or someone behind me. And I kind of had an idea about who it was, yet I refused to turn and look at him as if looking will hold me back and compel me to stay. This is why I kept going towards Jake, with only a few meters between us suddenly I felt a hand holding me still, keeping me from moving. This time I was forced to look him in the face, the last thing I ever wanted. "Who is he ?" He asked in a low dangerous voice. "I told you already he's my friend" " A friend who gives you a ride at a time like this ?" He said in a sarcastic voice. " You gave me a ride the other number night, yet your just my boss" " It's not the same thing" his tone showed that he was really annoyed. " What do you mean it's not the same thing?... You know what, I don't even want to know, I'm leaving" I was really starting to get pissed, but I kept repeating in my mind: he's your boss, he's your boss... For me to not do something stupid. I just wanted to get over with this day because it was getting really exhausted and I just wanted to get done with it, so I tried to walk as fast as I can towards Jake, it felt as if I was running for my life at that moment, which by the look at my very angry boss, I truly was. Miraculously, I managed to get to Jake's side, and as I was getting inside the car, by phone started ringing, I looked at it, and his name flashed before my eyes; the devil's name. I looked at him and he signaled for me to answer the phone in an almost threatening way. I pressed answer and placed the phone on my ear, only for his sinister voice to come right in " This isn't over" I only kept looking at him. " we'll have plenty of time to talk about this" his voice had a tone in it that could make a dead person's bones start cracking. After he said the last words, he ended the call and went back inside the building. Suddenly, the car in which I just come to realize that I was in came to life and Jake took us away from the Wilson corporation. During the way, he kept asking me about what happened but I kept my mouth shut, for even I didn't understand anything. I got home and the first thing I did was seek the comfort of my bed, thinking about how I might survive the next day.
