Aria was chosen as the Moonclaw Pack's Luna, destined to become close to Alpha Kael and rule with him. But everything fell apart the night they were joined. Aria was expelled, broken, and left to die in the desert after being accused of harboring a fatal curse that killed everyone she loved. She had to deal with pain and betrayal after her partner abandoned her.

Aria meets Lucian, the banished Cursed Alpha with a darker past than her own, while she is lost and being persecuted. They discover a hidden prophecy together that has the potential to permanently wipe out the strongest and oldest Alpha bloodlines. But to live, Aria must face the men who destroyed her world, retrieve her wolf, and face the evils connected to her ancestry.

Bound by pain, fueled by rage, and driven by love, neither Aria nor Lucian would risk everything to defy fate. But in a world ruled by betrayal, power has a price—and not everyone will survive the battle for the throne.

Chapter One: The Banishment
Rain battered the crumbling stone walls of the Moonclaw Packhouse as Aria clutched her cloak tighter. Her fingers trembled—not from cold, but from dread. The Elders’ Circle had summoned her to the judgment chamber, a place that reeked of finality. Her heart pounded like a war drum. She had turned eighteen just days ago, expecting to feel the mate bond and to be loved, just as her mother had once promised. But instead, her world collapsed in a single night. One moment, she was the Omega girl everyone ignored; the next, the Alpha claimed her. And then, rejected. Aria stumbled into the hall, rain dripping from her soaked clothes. The grand door creaked open. Inside stood Alpha Kael. He was everything an Alpha should be tall, broad-shouldered, with icy blue eyes that saw through your soul and dark brown hair always perfectly in place. But today, he looked different—harder. Cold. “Aria Grey,” his voice echoed. “You are hereby exiled from the Moonclaw Pack.” The world went silent. “What?” she croaked, barely able to stand. “You heard me,” Kael said, his jaw clenched. You are banished for endangering the pack with your lies. You were never meant to be Luna.” “I never asked for this!” Aria cried. “You marked me! You said—” “That was before I knew what you are.” The Elders stood behind him like shadows. “A cursed blood,” Elder Merek said, shaking his head. “She carries the blood of the rogue witch—Dahlia.” “No,” Aria whispered, her legs buckling. “Your mark is a curse,” Kael spat. You bring death to everyone near you. My father died the day after our bond. Do you think that is a coincidence?” Aria stared at the mark on her wrist. Faint, fading. Her heart broke all over again. “Please, Kael… if we just talk—” He turned away. “Escort her to the northern border,” the Elder barked. Two warriors seized her arms. “I loved you!” she screamed, fighting them. “I did not ask for this! I did not choose to be cursed!” Kael did not look back. As the gates shut behind her and the wind howled over the barren northern plains, Aria collapsed to her knees in the mud. She was alone. Betrayed. Banished from the only home she had ever known. And worst of all, she still felt the bond. Still felt him. Kael Three days have passed since Aria was cast out like filth. Her shoes were torn, her lips cracked from dehydration, and her wolf, Elara, had gone silent. Hunger clawed at her stomach, but grief gnawed deeper. The rejection had not severed the bond entirely. She could still feel Kael’s rage, his heartbeat through her chest. Every step into the wildlands burned with betrayal. She collapsed against a tree trunk, raindrops dripping from her matted hair. Her body was exhausted, her spirit worse. But as she drifted into unconsciousness, a voice pierced the silence. “Hey.” A shadow crouched beside her. She blinked—pain blurring her vision—a man. No. Not a man. A wolf. He smelled of power, of moonlight and war. “Don’t fall asleep,” he said, voice low, almost amused. “You will die out here. And death is not as peaceful as they say.” “Who... are you?” she murmured. He tilted his head. Silver eyes glinted under the hood of his cloak. “Lucian.” That name struck her like lightning. Lucian. The banished prince of the Lucan bloodline. The cursed royal Alpha. “You’re supposed to be—” “Dead?” he cut her off. “Yeah. That is what they wanted. But I do not stay dead easily.” Aria tried to sit up, groaning. He moved fast, steadying her gently. For someone infamous, his touch was surprisingly soft. “I don’t help strays,” he muttered. “But your scent… you’re not just any Omega, are you?” “I was the Alpha’s mate,” she whispered. Lucian froze. “And?” “He rejected me. Said I carry a curse.” His jaw flexed. “Do you?” “I don’t know,” Aria choked out. “But they believe I do. They banished me. I am nothing now.” Lucian’s silver eyes scanned her, expression unreadable. “Funny,” he said finally. “You’re the second person I’ve met today with a death sentence on their head.” “Why are you helping me?” Lucian shrugged and stood. “Because you are too pathetic to make it through another night. And I have a thing for broken things.” He slung her arm over his shoulder. As they vanished into the woods, a group of cloaked figures watched from the trees. One lifted a hand. “She is with him now. Just like the prophecy warned.”
