ANGELIKA
The lights that are off and on continue to dominate the whole room. Some people are dancing at the center without worrying what they would look like to others. Some people are just standing at the corner while drinking their favorite cocktails and observing the views. While the other people are busy flirting at the table.
"Angelika, what are you doing? Did you come so you could pout at the corner?"
I looked at my twin sister, who is holding a drink right now. I shrugged my head in response to her question.
"Monica, you know that it is my first time going here. I can't dare to dance and have fun like you. It's embarrassing."
She chuckled. She grabbed my hands and pulled me through the crowd.
"C'mon! You're here to have fun, sis." She giggled.
Monica started to dance, harmonizing with the bits of the song.
In order to not feel more embarrassed, I just let my body move on its own.
The music stopped and changed into more rock music. The people went more wild until Monica separated from me. I think I saw her get pulled by a stranger.
I deeply sighed. I don't know what came into me to agree right away when Monica asked me to come here to her favorite club.
I came maybe because I wanted to clear my mind about something.
I have someone whom I deeply adore, but somehow he does not like a plain woman like me. Of course, I really care about him, which is why I will try everything to win his heart.
I'm not that desperate. He is my friend, actually. It's just like he likes me, but I am not his type.
It's like a thorn completely dominating my whole heart right now. It's beating, and I'm also hurting with every beat that it's making.
I decided to walk away from the crowd. I sat at the empty table in the corner and drank the alcohol that was left there. It is not that strong, so I'm still completely sober, or not anymore?
Not far away, I saw the silhouette of a familiar guy. He is holding a glass while talking to a woman that I haven't met since the first time that I saw him.
My mind went blank, and I didn't think for a minute. I just stood up, and the moment that I realized something was wrong with my action, I was already standing in front of them.
"Xavier, let's go." The woman touched the man's hand with an ulterior motive.
The man just slightly smiled at her without removing her hand from his body.
I clenched my fist to control the unwanted emotions slowly eating my veins, and without thinking, I touched his shoulder in order for him to look in my direction.
"X-Xavier..."
There were a ton of things that I wanted to say in front of him, but my tongue stopped speaking when our eyes met each other.
He smiled at me. A wide smile. I knew it. He's already drunk. The woman in front of him is also a stranger to him. They can almost do something I couldn't even imagine if I hadn't seen him today.
"Let's go," I commanded.
"What? But he's-"
Before the woman could finish her sentence, I glared in her direction and smirked at her.
"Here's your tip, b*tch." I tossed thousands of pesos in front of her. After that, I grabbed the man's elbow and pulled him away from her.
We walked away from the crowd until we finally stood outside the clubhouse.
"Xavier, what do you think you're doing?"
"Hmmp!"
We're outside!
I can't say it to him because he suddenly kissed me. I am even afraid to push him away from me.
What if he cursed at me after I pushed him away? I'm afraid to do that.
He slowly drowns my strength in every kiss that we make until he finally stops for a couple of minutes.
Silence dominates between us. I don't dare to talk as well. When I tried to look in his direction, that's when I realized what had happened.
I feel hot all of a sudden. After a couple of minutes, I decided to bring him again in front of the clubhouse, which is the inn.
It's already 11:00 at midnight, and there is no cab at this late hour. Thankfully, he joined me without doubt.
Is he going to act like this too with the woman in front of him before? I can't imagine!
I checked into one room at the inn without a problem. I have completely forgotten about Monica since I saw Xavier. She's always at the club, so there is no reason for me to worry about her.
"Xavier, what are you doing at the club?" I asked when we finally walked inside the room.
By the way, I checked the room that could accommodate both of us. There is a two-bedroom and one-sala set.
He didn't answer me. He just lay on the bed and closed his eyes. However, after a couple of minutes, he opened his eyes again and walked in my direction.
My eyebrows met with confusion. Is he always like this when he's drunk?
He suddenly pushed me to lie on the bed and kissed my neck.
What happened to him?
I suddenly felt that something was wrong.
"Hmmp! Xavier, stop!" I tried to push him away when he was about to kiss my neck again, but he pulled me back.
There is a loud bell coming from my heart while I am still trying not to get caught up in this moment.
"Xavier, you're drunk. You don't know who you're kissing right now!" I tried to talk to him with my low voice, but still no reply from him.
Yes, I love him, but I don't want to have a one-night stand with someone who is losing his mind.
"No, I completely know who you are."
I was stunned not by his reply but by his hand traveling inside my dress.
Thankfully, I successfully brought him inside a room before he started to act like this.
"X-Xavier!"
He suddenly pushed me to lie on the bed. He stood on top of me and pulled up my dress completely.
He stared at my naked body for a couple of minutes, and after a while, he smiled while staring at my eyes.
My heart completely melts, and even if I'm not drunk, I think I'm losing my mind because of his presence.
"Please-"
Before he could finish his sentence, I slightly got up and torridly kissed him.
I don't care what's going to happen after this anymore.
"Yes, Xavier. F*ck me now."
