I stepped back into Eclipse Pack’s land, inhaling the familiar scent of home. My pack members bowed their heads in respect as I passed, but my mind was too focused to acknowledge them. I had just returned, but there was no time to rest.
Zyrus, my wolf, growled in my mind. "Zayn, we need to talk."
I shut my eyes for a moment, allowing our mind link to strengthen. "What is it?" I asked.
"Are you sure about this? Fighting Alpha Jerry Bolton and Alpha Leonard Hamilton just to win Darlene?"
My hands clenched into fists. "Yes. I believe she is my fated mate."
Zyrus sighed. "I don’t understand how they claim the same thing. They say Darlene is their mate too. Is that even possible? Three Alphas, one mate?"
