MARGARET  The air around us was thick and cold as we arrived back from the witch tribe. The sky was cloudy, and even the wind seemed to whisper secrets. Mother and I stood in front of the old wooden house at the edge of the forest. It looked just as scary as I remembered. I knocked on the crooked door, the sound echoing through the trees. After a few seconds, it creaked open. A sharp, cold laugh came from inside. “Well, well,” Kristine said as she leaned against the doorframe. Her eyes were wild, and her long gray hair hung in twisted strands around her shoulders. “What do you want now, pretty wolves?” I didn’t like her laugh. It gave me chills. But I stood tall, lifting my chin. “I need help,” I said. “I already have the three Alphas… Zayn, Leonard, and Jerry. They are mine now.”
