The notion of having another child for her to cherish in that same manner, a sibling for Michaela to adore and play with, tugged at Elijah's heart. However, as he pulled up to the office building, he was certain that Joana was well into the process by now. Respecting her decision, he acknowledged that it would be inappropriate to attempt to sway her resolve.
