Cam walked into Maggie’s office. Alison looked up.
“Hi, Cam,” she greeted her.
“Hey,” Cam returned. “Is she busy right now?”
“She’s with a client. It should only be twenty minutes or so.”
“Great. Does she have anything after that?”
Alison looked at the schedule. “Nope. She’s free after that.”
“Good. I guess I should work while I’m waiting.” She went to the shelf where Alison left files and papers that needed to be put away. She started filing. She was almost done when Maggie’s client came out of her office. When the woman had left, Cam closed the file cabinets and stuck her head in the door.
