"You have nice breasts," he commented."Do you flirt with every lady that walks into your office?" Sneering, she asked with her lips tightly pursed, her glare still pinned on him. "No, I don't. Betrayed
In a small room, far away from the outside world. There were two women and a man. "What are you doing?" Aurora gasped as she crawled on the floor with all her might. The sides of her clothes had been torn into shreds and her body was now covered in blood. She struggled to crawl to the door, wanting to escape the two monsters. The two monsters were none other than her husband whom she dearly loved and her best friend whom she loved more than herself. "Isn't it obvious? What do you think we're doing?" Lilith laughed loudly as she twirled the end of her hair with her fingers. In her other hand was a pile of documents. "Thompson Charles! Why are you doing this?" Aurora yelled as tears streamed down her face. She stared up at the one man she had loved her whole life. Today was meant to be their three years anniversary in their marriage but she was welcomed by the sight of her best friend and her husband having s*x right on her matrimonial bed. "Don't be stupid, Aurora. Did you really think I loved you? I only put up with all your shenanigans because I needed to get my hands on the properties your stupid late father left for you," Charles spoke nonchalantly with his hands in his pocket. His words were like a huge blow striking at Aurora's chest as she sobbed loudly. Her eyes were red and swollen as she stared at the two people she trusted and loved. "Are you meaning to tell me that you only pretended to care all because of the properties my father left behind?" Aurora asked with a calm face. Despite how much she was hurt by their betrayal, she couldn't let them see her in a worse state. Her gaze momentarily glued on her stomach. She had intended on surprising her husband on their anniversary with the news of her being pregnant but guess who was surprised more? Yes, Aurora was shellshocked. "Don't make me say it twice. I don't want to hurt you but you're forcing me to. Wouldn't it be nice to just have a slow and easy death?" Charles crouched to her level, flashing her a small smile as he stared right into her eyes. "F*ck you, Charles! I can't believe I loved a monster like you!" Aurora yelled in agony as she spat on his face. The veins on her forehead were now protruding and her tear stained face showed her vunerability. "Don't be stupid, Aurora. Did you really think I'll love a fat pig like you who only knows how to spend her late father's money. Always remember even in your death that you're a fallen princess," with a calm face, Charles rubbed the saliva on his face away. Every word of his hit a sore spot in her chest. She forced back the tears in her eyes as she turned to face the one lady she had taken as a best friend. "What about you, Lilith? Did you also get close to me for my father's wealth?" With a bitter smile, Aurora stared into Lilith's eyes. Deep down, she hoped Lilith would deny this but reality was more harsher. "Oh please, don't try to play the pity game with me. You were always so arrogant, treating me like I was your maid. You didn't treat me as a friend but a follower. Such a shame to be following a fat pig like you," Lilith clicked her tongue in disgust, staring down at Aurora. Two streaks of tears slipped down Aurora's face as she listened to Lilith. "So, you both have been planning this? Lilith, I treated you like a sister," With a small smile, Aurora asked. She thought back to the days where she had received strange letters. The letters that warned her against who to be close with. She had been stupid enough to share them with Charles and Lilith, believing they could do no harm to her. "You won't like my answer to that question. By the way, who's the bastard that has been sending those letters to you?" with a frown on his face, Charles questioned. A bitter laugh escaped Aurora's lips. How could she be so stupid? "So, the letters were true all along?" bitter laughs escaped her mouth as she thought back to the letters she had been receiving ever since her marriage with Charles. "Who's the bastard? Have you been cheating on me?" With a fierce glare, Charles yelled. "Humor me. What gives you the right to be mad even if I did? Don't try to act innocent. I know you've both been sleeping together for the past three years," as Aurora spoke with a laugh, silent tears fell from her eyes. Her pride wouldn't allow her sob loudly in front of these two. Despite how much it hurt, she held back her tears, squeezing her fists in anger and bitterness. As soon as she said these words, a slap landed on her cheek as Charles stood, fuming in anger. "I can't believe I've been having s*x with a fat pig like you. It's better you die because no one wants a fat pig like you. You're just wasting our resources," Charles spoke harshly while Aurora's heart pounded in fear. "What do you mean? If I go missing, the media will find out. Don't even think about killing me," Aurora struggled to crawl towards the door, wanting to escape but the next moment, her leg was pulled roughly as her body scraped the harsh floor. "Haaa, let me go!" Aurora screamed in pain as she struggled to pull back her broken leg. "Don't worry, I'll make this quick," Lilith laughed as she held a whip in her hand. "It's easy to say you committed suicide after you were caught cheating on your husband. For fear of getting divorced, you committed suicide," Charles spoke as he watched. Aurora's mouth hung open in shock as she heard his words. "You will pay for this!" She yelled with bitterness and the next moment, she felt a huge blow to her stomach followed by whips on her body. Loud screams of help escaped her mouth but seeing how the other two remained nonchalant, they knew no one was coming to help. Minutes passed and slowly, Aurora's vision became blurry, her breathing became shallow as the whips continued. "Lilith, that's enough. She can't survive that anyway. Let's leave here before anyone finds out. She has been screaming like the pig she is," Charles hurriedly walked up to Lilith to stop her. The latter had a smile dancing on her lips as she stared down at the unmoving Aurora. "In your next life, you would watch who you're friends with," and with these parting words, Charles and Lilith walked out of the room. Through her blurry gaze, Aurora could only watch them walk away. "If I ever have a next life, I won't let you both live," She whispered, staring at their retreating back. Suddenly, fire erupted in the room as tears soon fell from Aurora's eyes. She closed her eyes, ready to accept death but just then, she heard the door open. Who could that be? There was no way Lilith or Charles had come to save her. She opened her blurry eyes and strong and sturdy footsteps filled her ears. She could barely make out the face of the tall figure walking towards her. "You can't die just yet. I have a lot of things to sue you for. Those who hurt you will die screaming," The man's voice was calm and cold. His voice were like a calm breeze blowing on Aurora's body as she slowly succumbed to the darkness.
