“Well, can you just test the girls my age with the extra bit of DNA so I can see who might be my sister?” I asked.

“I am sorry but we can’t.” Alpha Lincoln said.

“Can I ask, if Iron Fangs doesn’t have an heir. Who will take over?” I asked.

“They hold a competition. The family always had a birthmark. It was like a crescent moon on their lower backs. The Alpha’s and Luna’s used to get together for the births. But as the last few were taken, they did what we did. We kept our birth a secret until Alistair was 3 years old. And even then we had three people watch over him until he was 10.” Alpha Lincoln said.

“What if the Alpha’s kids were kept alive?” I asked.

“Damon, you are looking for a needle in a haystack that stretches over 100 acres. We will never find them.” Alpha Lincoln said.

“Well, I want to believe that they and my sister are alive. I want to make it my goal to find them.” I said.

“Just don’t until your 18. Because we are liable for you until then.” Alpha Lincoln said.

“Hey, where is Luna Liliana? I saw her as I was leaving the archives room and she said she was going to ask for refreshments and then come up here. I have been here for 20 minutes. Is she okay?” I asked.

“She isn’t. Today, when Alistair was hurt. She acted calm but really, it reminded her of her brother being killed in front of her.” Alpha Lincoln said.

“I hope she will be okay. Can I head to the hospital again?” I asked.

“Yes, if Alistair is okay, let us know please.” Alpha Lincoln said.

“Yes Alpha.” I said.

I walked towards the door.

“Don’t tell anyone what we spoke about.” Alpha Lincoln said.

“Yes Alpha.” I replied.

I walked out but I saw Luna Liliana walking into the clearing towards the pack house. She didn’t look at me so I didn’t say anything. I remembered what Alpha Lincoln said so I gave her some time to be alone. I started walking to the doctors.

So I followed my fathers lead like he said. He went to lunge at Tabitha and I followed in. I got my wrist torn and my should and arm. My vein was torn so they made me lay on the bed until they could take me out back so I can shift to human so they can try to fix me. But they have to hold silver in my wrist until my vein heals and reconnects. Damon was here, and it wasn’t for me. He just worries about her. He wouldn’t tell me her name but he told the nurse and my parents. But I can’t seem to understand why he is interested in my mate? I mean, I am rejecting her. But he hasn’t even seen his own mate yet. Why is this bothering me? I want to look at her. I slowly get out of the hospital bed and f**k I feel the pain shoot through my whole body from moving the wrist and the arm. I walk towards the door slowly and open it with my other hand. I walk through the hall and see her in the distant being wheeled in a bed to the furthest room down the hall. I follow slowly and then lean against the wall to hide from view when they leave her room. I walk closer and then quickly push her door open and sneak inside. I saw her, looking really pale and I could sense her pain. My wolf was whimpering in my head. So I went towards her and I looked closer. She looked so beautiful still. I couldn’t resist the urge. I placed my good hand over her hand and I felt the spark between us. The mate spark. I leaned a little bit closer and I went to kiss her once. But when I did, the spark was really big. To my surprise, my shoulder started healing and so did her wounds. They closed a little bit. But she woke up and looked at me a little scared.
