Bonus Two

It has been two days since we have left out homes in search for Star and Missy. I don’t know what pisses me off more, having to leave my mate and pups or that these two are out here still hurting others. I sigh as I look out over the river we have arrived at. As our horse’s drink, I leave and start to search the perimeter of the cave we suspect them to be hiding out in. We had met up with Johnny’s team yesterday. They had been keeping an eye on the cave and had left one man up ahead to meet with us and show us the way to the cave. I move silently as a breeze moves over me. I hear my breast growl.
He is so quiet that I always forget that he is there always watching and waiting for the next threat to us or one of our pups. Is always surprises me when I hear him talk to me.
