The Cave Part One Twenty-Two: Lyra The long trek was hard on me but I never said a word. When we at the river where we took our first break, I felt so confused. That whole time we walked I felt him staring at me. It made me feel so self-conscious having him bore holes into me. I keep my back straight and never stumbled. I would try to look at him with no one noticing but it never worked as he was staring at me the whole time. He really started to piss me off. How could he look at me like that but ignore me none the less? He still has not said one word to me which makes my anger boil. Tabby and I are upstream from where Clay left the horse to drink and munch on the fresh grass. I look over my shoulder and notice him and I think the tall man is Andre. They are having a quiet conversation
