And All It Started At The Night We Met

ALICE...

I walked up to his side, He is looking like a lifeless body lying in front of me.. His face is bloodless and lips are pale.. Suddenly, The arrogant Shane Davies looked like a helpless a the most pitiful human being in the world..

I touched his cheeks and forehead only to find him burning with fever.. I found his small towel and placed it on his forehead after damping it..

He has a bedroom inside his office.. I found emergency medical kit there.. I was kind of surprised opening it.. It was full of emergency medical staffs as if he knew something like this would happen!

I also found an electronic cooker, packets of instant soups and noodles.. I make some soup to feed him before giving the medicine..

When I again came back to the office, he was still lying like before.. I sat beside him "Director, get up and eat something.. You have to take medicine.."

He groaned weekly, denying to get up.. I placed my hand on his hair and started caressing it "You have to wake up, please get up and have your medicine and then go back to sleep okay?" I myself didn't notice how soft my voice sounds..

He finally opened his eyes a little "I.. d.. don't want it.." He said, stuttering.. His voice was husky due to sickness..

But, I can not let him skip his medicine.. He will be more sick if he doesn't take it now.. I have to become stubborn with him.. "What do you mean you don't want it? Huh!? Are you kidding me now!? Get up and have it.." I tried to wake him up.. But, in vain..

He frowned and murmured something.. I didn't understand the whole of it but only one word "no".. And trust me I lost it.. I am a least patient human in this world, at least my mom thinks that..

I got angry "I am not taking any no, get up and have your medicine Shane Davies, or else I will make you take that forcefully, Mark my words.." I know it sounded rude but I have no other choice..

He opened his bloodshot eyes and I saw surprise in it.. But I don't care all these, I will do what I have said..

But, good for him that he didn't protest anymore and agreed to take medicine.. I helped him to seat up on the couch and started feeding him..

He shot me a looked for a second and then opened his mouth.. I somehow managed to feed him half of the bowl and then he started frowning and making annoying sounds, like kids do when they doesn't want to eat..

After taking medicine I helped him to sleep in his bed He has in his office.. And in just a few, He fall asleep..

I waited there.. In case he needs anything.. No one is in the office and he even stopped me to call anyone.. Moreover, I don't know any of his family members but Leonard.. But, he is on the tour in England and I couldn't disturb him..

In few minutes his fever started going down and he started looking nuch better than before.. Finally, I become relaxed.. Suddenly, I heard a loud growl and it was from my on tummy.. I realised I didn't eat anything..

But, how can I go leaving him.. For God's sake we are all alone in the whole building without the security guards and they are slo busy in their work.. Moreover, he is sick and I can not leave him like this..

Thinking for a moment, I decided to have the instant noodles my boss has in his stock.. I have never ate foods like these.. Like packaging food..

I have always eaten fresh home made foods or from expensive restaurants.. Maybe I can adjust with any life styles but still I can not have packaging foods or too oily foods.. It does not go well with me..

Yet, I have to adjust with it for now.. I just Hope it will be fine and won't affect much.. "You owe me one Shane Davies.." I sighed, Murmuring to myself..

I think I have to stay here tonight and Called Lisa.. She was worried at first but realising the whole situation she agreed and asked me to take care of myself.. She wanted to bring food for me but I denied.. It would be too hassle for her..

I lied that I have eaten out, avoiding the topic of Instant noodles, or else she would bring food for me.. Though she doesn't know about my true identity but she knows about my poor digestion..

I sat comfortably on the couch, inside the bedroom.. Looking at Shane Davies, I suddenly realised how handsome and hot he is! I mean I know he is handsome but now he seems more handsome even in his sickness! I just don't understand the fact that how could he manage to pull himself like that!

He is not an arrogant and workaholic Shane Davies anymore but he is looking so peaceful.. If he is like this in his regular times, I am sure to fall for him..

However, in regular times, Shane Davies is a number one playboy in the Chicago.. And engaging with a playboy is nothing but a disaster..

Sighing I closed my eyes and in just few minutes darkness covered me.. I just hope everything goes normal again after I opened my eyes next day..
