When I noticed this, I couldn't utter a word, I was in a panic, I then noticed around four people were chasing us, and all of them were having a spare, except one.
"Jordan, Keri, take mum and run with her" I commanded them, they were still young and I needed to protect them, I can't allow anything to happen to them, even from their faces, I know very well they were scared.
That's when I immediately hugged them," you can do it, you need to take her and run ".
"But we don't want to lose you," Keri said, while trying to keep calm, that's when, I kissed them, before I urged them to run when they started running, I found myself trying to take steady breaths before I transformed. I then started fighting with the men who were there, I took a deep breath while lunching at them.
So in a split second, their bodies were all splattered around the ground, I then rushed back towards my siblings, I then noticed they were still struggling with my mother, I immediately took her from them, before I laid her down on the ground, she was panting heavily, it was clear that very soon she won't make it.
I checked the spear, only to notice that it was Inflicted with a very deadly and poisonous poison, I noticed the poison was radiating all over her body, I don't know what to do, so I immediately took her before rushing her to the nearby pack.
Everyone was looking at me in a very strange way, I can't help but wonder if I was walking or wearing something weird.
" Please help my mother, please" I cried, to no one in particular, because I was so desperate, I don't want anything to happen to my mother I felt nothing but immense pain, I tried as much as I could not think much about what will eventually happen to me if she's no more. I then noticed the way a woman started taking steady strides toward me, it was evident enough that the only thing I wanted at that moment, was to forget about the hurt and pain I have experienced in life.
Then I noticed a woman, she was having white hair, with a long staff, that managed to support her, her white, wrinkled skin, shown clearly under the dimly lit light of the evening.
My mother started letting out husky groans, making it evident, that she was about to take her last.
"Please help her... please" I pleaded as my life depended solely on it.
"You are a Wolf?" The silver-haired woman asked, I nodded which made her take a deep breath before she stared at my younger ones, it was clear enough that she was trying to scrutinize us for a while, and my mother let out another groan of pain, immediately bringing that panic in me.
"Please help her, she's dying, please " I pleaded, which made the silver-haired woman come closer to my mum, she perceived her for a while, before she said.
"Come with me " I was very grateful because deep within me, I don't want anything to happen to my mum, I Inwardly prayed that everything will be fine, I took a mouthful of air before I heard the loud voice of my brother, he was calling me from outside the room.
He immediately rushed in, before he said in a panicked voice, "the...the members of the blood moon pack are here" it was evident enough that he was scared, I took a deep breath while trying to keep calm, I don't know what else to do, because right now, my mother still needed some treated to survive.
"Come here with me," the silver-haired witch said, that's when I noticed her open a place, it was more like a basement, I took a deep breath before I said.
"Thank you everything... sincerely, you have been of so much help to me," I said before I went inside with my mother and brothers, I don't want anything to happen to these innocent people, all because they decided to help me, I prayed inwardly to the goddess of the moon to protect us, so nothing would happen to them.
Then I heard their footsteps, only to hear the deep baritone voice of the alpha of the blood moon pack, it was evident enough, that he wanted to threaten the people here.
"Have you seen, a lady with any young boy around here?" He asked, she immediately shook her head, while trying to keep a nonchalant expression, it was evident enough the silver-haired woman was about to lie.
" No. I don't know of the presence of any woman over here" she said confidently while looking at him directly in the eyes.
" Are you sure about that, because I can perceive their presence in this room?" she said, that's when I came to realize that they can still perceive us, which means there is a high chance of us, getting caught, I took a deep breath before I went towards the set of the mixture, I noticed in a bottle, there was something that was written, hidden scent, I don't know it's used, as I immediately took it, then rub the content all over my body, I did the same to my brothers and my mum, who was now lying lifeless on the ground.
We waited for what was about to happen next while praying Inwardly, that we won't be caught, so I'll be able to treat my mother because I don't want anything to happen to her, I took a mouthful of air while trying to keep calm, I then heard sounds of footsteps were being taken, it brought cold shivers down my spine, I tried as much as I could to keep a calm expression, especially when I heard the clacking sound of the basement door being pried open, it brought cold shivers down my spine.
Immediately the door was pried open, and that's when I noticed the predatory eyes of one of the pack members, staring right at us.
