SERENE’S POV
I didn't realize that I had already fallen asleep while waiting for Stefan. I woke up suddenly because of the stiffness in my neck from leaning on the swivel chair. Fortunately, I was able to come up with a concept for the competition.
Stefan hasn't visited his office since our argument this morning, even though his surgery supposedly started at six. I straightened up as I glanced at the clock and noticed that it was already nine.
Hasn't he come out of the operating room yet? It seems like the case is quite critical if it's still not finished by now.
