The Abuse Out Cast

The Past; Surprise

                     It's been three weeks since the attract on the pack, we been on the go and hiding since then. We have been in this cave for a week now and even though the storm has passed after three days we are still getting rain off and on. This typical for spring in Canada the men have been going out hunting and bring huge logs in and chopping it all up into firewood and as of now, we have plenty of it. 

                     I and William have been working on the plan to send some of our people out to get what information if any there is on us. we need to learn who else was involved and if they are still involved in his and why the reward for me and my family. We also need to know if it safe out there for us to travel to my Brother in laws pack.

                   ONE day as the men were out they found a very huge surprise, they came across a few seriously wound people from our pack, they had escaped and were trying to reach the Sliver Moon pack but got caught up in the storm. they were in pretty bad shape when they were brought into the cave. 

                 Thank the goddess we had three of our doctors' whit us and four of our nurses that was my mate's order just in case we had to run. We had what we need to care for them but not sure if it would be enough. I know one of the pack members well she was one of the cooks that stayed behind to be with her mate who was one of our warriors she was in very bad shape, her mate was carrying her not worrying about his injuries. he told me she saved him and the betas wife when she jumps on one of the rouges that were about to attack us. She not the best fighter but she killed him but was attacked by another so between the two she was hurt really bad they were told by the alpha to run back into the forest and hide till they can make it out of there. He told us they were winning almost wiped out all the rouges then everything change, all at once there were warriors standing in front of them waiting then they swarmed down on us and we were overrun by them.

                  We fought the best we could but by then we were weak and tired from all the fighting all night, now fresh fighters we were doing the best we could but we started to lose more warriors so alpha orders us to make it into the forest and then hide or run fine a place for being safe then make our way to his brothers pack so we did as he ordered fought our way into the forest to hide then made our way out but then the storm hit us. We try to keep those who were seriously injured dry and warm but it was not possible we lost two on our way, we buried them the best we could luna. 

                  I am so worrying over Bethann she been running a fever the past six days, I've been trying to keep her wounds clean and somewhat open to drain out any infections but she just started to get worst.  we made some broth for those ill like her to try to keep them alive.

                 We may not be doctors but as warriors, we needed to learn how to sew up wounds and survives out here if we had to leave the war grounds. luna do you think she'll be ok and our baby she was pregnant six weeks, I told that doctor Rycker he said he can't say at this time he more worried about her wounds and her wolf at this time. 

               I don't know Jerico we just have to pray that she is strong enough to get better as for the baby only the goddess can tell us if she loses the pup then the goddess had a need for the child there she can other pups but right now all we can do is wait till the doctor knows what going on with Bethann. I need to check on the others that came with you but I will come back and sit with you then.

               Thank you luna for everything. I know you have your duty to us all in here. When you come back I can tell what you may want to know on the alpha.

             That would be very helpful then, any news you can tell me would be great. As I said let me do my duty then I shall be back.

             As I check on the new arrivals many were in bad shape out of the twelve that made it here the doctors agree that we will lose one by tonight. that he was far gone if they had been able to get him here earlier they could have removed the leg saved his life. All we can do is make him as comfortable as we can. then there are two others he not sure of as of now it will be a wait and see. As for the rest, they need to eat and rest, in a few days they will start to feel strong.

             After I saw the others and talk without three doctors I sent a few of the single women to help out with them and went back to Jericho. As I was walking towards him Dr.Rycker stopped me for a moment to speak on Bethann. YES, Dr. Rycker what is it.

            Luna is about Bethann and the pup, She is in pretty bad shape right now and it going to be a long hard fight to get her better and the treatment may not be good for the pup it may make her body reject the baby faster than she may now. I don't want to say anything to jer mate that won't help her recovery at all but I need you to beware of it that when and if it happens I may you and William.. 

           I understand Dr. Rycker I will do as much as I can to help you and them. Right now I'm heading back there, I promise to sit with him for a while. Is there anything you suggest I can do to help them right now?

           Just help her get stronger than she is now I want her to have a lot of hot broths, for now, every few hours, we need to get her to a healthy weight again. then we will take it from there.

            Understand I have already informed the women to start making soups and broths for all our ill people. and inform them to speak with the doctors and see what each needs and help them out. So Doctor you have your new aids to help you out I suggest you all use them the best way you can in this.

            Thank you luna that will help us get them back to their old selves without over-tiring us. We need to be clear of mind to see to their needs right now. 

           Please ask William to come to me as quickly as he can.

           As I walked away from the doctor my thoughts turn to Jericho and his wife as well as to my own mate and hope he made it to the forest himself. As I walked closer to Jericho I placed a smile on my face not to worry him more than he already was. 

          Well, I hear Bethann will recover as long as she stays in the soft bed we made her and to rest. we are to feed her broth every few hours and not a lot at the start she needs to regain her weight slowly for the both of them. she stronger than we think, she showed that when she jumped in there to save you and our beta's wife, Have you been check over you have some wounds that need to be taken care of. I ask the doctor to take care of them while I stay here with her. Go, Jericho, she will be so upset if she wakes and see you like that and clean him up he smells she needs to see a freshly clean mate wounds wrap then she will not worry that's the last thing we want for her. go Jericho it's an order.

            after he left I had the women come and help me bath Bethann to clean all the dirt off her, then we laid her naked under the skin that William had us make into blankets which were great right now. it stays nice and warm in here so we aren't worried about her laying naked in here once she is better we will have something for her to wear then. after we had finished bathing her and washing her hair she was somewhat cooler by touch. I had them burn those rags and bring me a small amount of broth for her to be feed. As the women were leaving Isaw a clean Jericho he smiles when he saw Bethann. 

          We bathed her and washed her hair so now she feels a little cooler to the touch. we decided it was better to leave her naked to help break her fever. I have a small amount of broth coming to feed her now. then every three or four hours we need to keep feeding her the broth so she will regain her strength to have that pup.

         Thank you luna for everything. You were right I did need that bath and my wounds took care of now I feel much better, I now can take good care of my mate now. How is she doing Luna?

            better we bathed her so she is clean, we wash her hair as well. that help to bring her temper down some. she not as feverish right now. By the time she wakes up and stronger, we will have clothes for her then. You must see to it that she is fed every few hours the broth she needs to regain her strength and weight. I have women that will help you just tell them what you need and I myself will also be helping.

           Thank you luna we can talk about the fighting and the alpha if you wish right now. I can tell you what I saw before we were told to leave and find a place to hold up in till we can get away from here. 

           As much as I want to you need to rest as well so we can speak of this tomorrow with William as well. So for now tend to your mate and yourself rest and eat you need it. As I left to check on the rest I hope my mate was safe and well.
