SOMETHING TO HOLD ON TO

Its morning, I can see the sun rays shining through my curtains, yet here I'm laying on my bed without even able to have a wink of sleep. I still remember it like yesterday, all the events run through the back my mind even when I try to close my eye to calm myself down. Its been freaking 13 years and yet not a single thing has changed. Every other morning, I wake up thinking maybe today they would want to talk to me or see me at least, even though I know its not possible and then just like my normal routine, going to bed with disappointment which has turned out to be my companion these days. Today, its been 13 years and till today when I close my eye, I see a younger version of me looking at my parents, my brothers, my best friend, my whole entire family for help. Pleading with my teary eyes to believe me, to stand by me, to stand for me but nothing happened. All I could see was hatred and disgust in their eye. No one, not a single person believe me or my innocence, for God sake I was only 10. The justice they did was the biggest and the worst punishment for any 10 year old. I couldn't have ever imagined that my own family would - "Knock Knock" my train of thoughts were broke as my sister-in-law Bella enters by room. "Good morning young lady, where the heck are you lost, l have been calling since ages." "Morning to you too Ms Angry Bird, now stop being jealous of my exceptional talent of getting up late and I know not everyone can be like me - an extraordinarily super fantastic person, right sis-in-law" " always full of herself " I heard her murmur, to which I gave her my sweetest smile, I know exactly how to make her lose the early morning battles. " Yeah yeah!! your right no one can beat my exceptionally talented little sissy-in-law, now come down stairs and have your breakfast before it is cold... and yeah your brother told me, to tell you someone every important is coming, so be presentable when you come down stairs baby" with that she was rushing out. " hey, wait but who is coming" " I myself am not aware of the fact that who in hell is coming early in the morning to have a meeting and that to at home,why not in the office though..." she continues her blabbering while going through the hallway. Well, what is the meeting about, neither did my Brothers or my PA has informed me about such a thing. And is it so urgent that my brothers had to invite the person to our home which has actually never happened because my brothers always make sure that we don't mix our personal and professional spaces. well, then I'm taking it as the client must be really important...
