Not going to stop

Erik's POV

She feels the tingles too...

I've definitely never had a kiss like that before. When she walked away I couldn't move. I couldn't go downstairs and not kiss her again. I'm going to ask Michael what the name of the restaurant is that she works in Rome and see if she was the scent I smelt on my last night. If Michael really likes her it might be difficult to get any information from him.

They say when you touch your mate that you feel sparks and I feel that with Sasha. If she is my mate, I'm not going to let her go.

When I touched her birthmark I could feel the energy radiating from it. I don't believe it's just a birthmark. That mark holds a certain power. Is it just a coincidence that it's a crescent moon? Is it just a coincidence that she looks like my mum's best friend and has green eyes like the Alpha?

I'm going to go pay a visit to Alpha James tomorrow. I'm not scheduled to compete for another day and I want to see if I can get any more information about his fated mate. Imagine how happy Sasha would be if I found her long-lost father?

I finally head downstairs and the band has started to play. All the girls are on the dancefloor and I go to the bar to get another drink. I place my order with a cute blonde and I look back at the dance floor and I see green eyes dancing with Taylor and cheering on the band. I couldn't stop looking at her and watching her every move. 

"There's just something about her don't you think?" Alpha Michael says nudging me with his elbow

"Hey! I didn't see you there. Want a drink?" Michael gives me a nod and I tell the cute blonde to make it two negronis. I hand over my money and pass the drink to Michael. 

"So you and Sasha are close yeah?" I ask still watching her on the dance floor

"You could say that" Michael takes a sip of his drink and turns to face me

"I really like her Erik, and after the games, I want to ask her to be with me" I know this is Michael's polite way of telling me to back off.

"What happens if she finds her mate? Do you want to risk that rejection" I turn my body towards him to gauge his reaction and he just shakes his head

"Sasha doesn't believe in mates! She never has. I've told her how I feel and I know that she feels the same way" hearing Michael talk about her that way makes my wolf angry. If she likes him so much why did she just kiss me? 

"When she was sleeping on the plane, I could smell a wolf on her. A strong male scent like they had just been together, if you get my drift. Are you sure she doesn't already have a boyfriend?" I ask bringing my drink to my mouth. I could feel the air get thick and Michael was probably trying to control his anger. 

"Erik, I really, really like her. I have for a long time. I'm not going to give up on her just because she had a male scent on her" Michaels eyes have gone black and his wolf is on the surface. If I'm not careful he is going to lose his cool.

"I'm just looking out for you bro" I give him a big smile and tap him on the back.

"Or are you looking out for yourself? She's going to be mine" we both just look at each other and this time my wolf is ready to fight.

Michael skulls his drink and storms off to the dance floor to be with Sasha. He grabs her by the waist and gives her a kiss on her neck where his mark would go if he got his way. 

Now that I've been warned by Michael I doubt he's going to give me any information about Sasha. 

I finish my drink and message the guys I'm leaving. 

I'm not going to give up on finding out the truth.
