The Reverse Zombie: Digital Illusion (book 2)

It was a beautiful day outside. The birds chirped and sang, flowers bloomed and blossomed, and on a day like this, a new humankind and zombiekind monarch was late for waking up for the day. The alarm clock buzzed loudly. "CHARLIE, PLEASE WAKE UP AND TURN OFF THE ALARM CLOCK!!!" It seemed that Lily was getting annoyed with the loud beeping and buzzing. Charlie lazily and tiredly slapped the alarm clock off button. They both got ready for the day. Charlie felt a little dizzy, but thought it was just tiredness. They walked out to meet Lily at the dining hall. "There you are, Charlie! Uh... are you ok?" Lily asked, sounding a little concerned. Charlie tried to answer, but their voice wouldn't go. They kept trying to speak, but they got dizzy again. And this time, they were even more dizzy than last time, and it was much worse, too. They collapsed, but Lily had managed to catch them. Lily took Charlie to the hospital, the one that Dr.Seam now had opened. The doctor that came to check on Charlie was Dr. Cainterra (she wanted to be a doctor, of all things.) It turned out that Charlie lost their voice permanently, but only because of a poison. But the poison had to be slipped into their voice. Someone had been trying to kill them. They had to figure this out.
