Light shone through my eyelids, threatening to invade my throbbing head. Groaning, I pulled my hand up to rub my eye, but it was trapped. Blinking the blurry grogginess from my eyes, I fluttered them open. Blinking rapidly, so my eyes could adjust, I realized I was lying in a hospital bed with Jax holding me tightly. His strong arms circled around my waist, holding my back to his stomach. Turning slightly to look at his face, I could see dark circles that hung beneath his closed lids and a light snore came from his parted lips. Trying to pull my arm free, so I could find a bathroom to relieve myself, Jax's eyes popped open and alert.
