"WHAT THE f**k IS HAPPENING TO HER?" I roared as I kicked down the Pack Doctors door. The wood splinters from the frame where the screws once sat. The doctor turned, his short gray hair kept neat, and his stomach about threatened to push from the buttoned shirt. His face showed the fear that he tried to hide. Katie's body was limp in my arms, as I walked further into the clean, sterile smelling room. My parents rushed into the room behind me, the doctor immediately motioning for me to lay her on a plain-white hospital grade bed. The tension was thick in the air as his stubby, but swift, hands moved to check her. He took her pulse and blood pressure, opening her eyes, which seemed normal again.
