Act 1scene 2

( Selena wakes up by the sound of her ringing phone)

selena:hello(she picks the call still half asleep)

Akeem:i hope you're up already ( the person on the other side of the call ,her agent says firmly)

Selena:( her eyes widen in shock) yeah... definitely... I'm awake ( she struggles to get up and falls on the floor) aw

Akeem: are you alright?

Selena:( she slowly stands up and checks the time on her clock) 8:15 s**t!!( She whispers to her self)

Akeem: Selena

Selena: yeah..yeah I'm good Akeem

Akeem:okayyy..are you on your way to the shoot?

Selena:( stands up and starts removing her clothes) yeah..i mean no ..but I'm about to leave right now..but um could you remind me of the time again?( She laughs nervously)

Akeem:9:00, the shooting starts by 9: 00 ,then on Friday you guys will move to site to start filming

Selena: okay thanks bye( she hangs up and runs into the bathroom)

( selena runs down the stairs wearing a simple flay long trouser,a crop top and sneakers with a small side bag and her hair packed up)

Mr.Bond:( josh's buttler runs up to her) Mrs Bayer.. Good Morning( Mr.Bond is a tall light skinned man, probably in his fifties,he is putting on an elegant complete black suit)

Selena:( she stops) Mr.Bond good morning ( she says impatiently)

Mr.Bond:Mr.Bayer went to the office very early this morning for an urgent business meeting, however he did ask us to prepare for you a car and a driver that will yake you to work. Right this way(he leads her outside where a guy dressed in an official suit is standing in front of a black limo)This is Mr Dwane , your personal driver

Dwane: Good morning Mrs Bayer

Mr.Bond:( two hefty men walk out from a corner) and these are Mr Rick and Mr woles they are your personal body guards

Selena:( she exhales) okay then let's go I'm in a bit of a rush

Mr.Bond:Mr Bayer also asked the chefs to prepare a packed breakfast for you..he assumed you'd be in a hurry this morning ( one of the maids hands her a packaged flask)

Selena:josh you know me too well ( she laughs and shakes her head) Alright then I'll get going ( she gets in the car and leaves)

AT THE SHOOT

( Selena walks into the building with her bodyguards following behind,she enters the main shooting room and see Rachel,her personal assistant pacing around at a corner then dhe walks up to her)

Selena:how late am I

Rachel: finally you're here( she sighs) well normally this will be pretty late but we had a little problem wih the props so we've been delayed for an hour so hurry up and get your make up done( she pushes her into the makeup room) now sit down I'll go get Nicky( she leaves and selena sits down. Few minutes later Nicky, Selena's personal makeup artist wslks in with Rachel)

Nicky:hey Selena..or should I say Mrs Bayer ( she teases and they laugh)

Rachel:haha very funny Nicky,now please focus on her makeup alright? , I'll be right back ( she leaves)

Nicky:why is she always serious ( she opens her makeup kit) light or heavy?

Selena:its just a shoot,make it light

Nicky: okay( she starts applying the makeup) i actually thought you'd take a couple of months on leave ..i mean you did just get married..what about your honeymoon?

Selena: Nahh this movie has a deadline for release and its pretty close so i just need to place my priorities.. besides i don't want to go on a romantic trip with josh that's just wierd

Nicky:okay make all the excuses that you want but you know you have to go because if you don't people will talk,so my advice? Just take it as an adventurous journey with a friend alright

Selena:( she groans) i hate when you're right( they laugh)

( After the photo shoot,all the actors and actresses gather at a hall for a little dinner..... Gabriel the film director raises his glass)

Gabriel: i am glad that we finally get to start our filming after all the set backs we've had,i know most of us were called under short notice, I'm deeply sorry. However i am thrilled to produce a movie casting both Selena Brown and Todd sawyer , thank you both for squeezing this into your tight schedule,so lets toast ( everybody raises thier glass) a toast to the Beginning of a new face ( everybody clicks thier glass with each other)

Back at the villa, Around 10 Selena walks into the living quite and dark living room,she goes upstairs and then the passage light turns on making her jerk up

Josh: welcome back( he says calmly standing at the top of the stairs)

Selena: wow josh thanks for giving me a heart attack ( she says sarcastically)

Josh: its pretty late ( he pushes his hands in his pockets)

Selena: don't you think i know that ? And why the hell are you standing there , don't tell me you were waiting for me to come home

Josh:you wish( he chuckles) i was going down to watch TV pretty girl

Selena: ( she rolls her eyes and walks pasr him to the room door then turns back to him)then get going then

Josh: i will( he slowly walks to her and pins her to the door) you missed dinner ( he whispers) are you hungry

Selena:( feeling his face so close to hers, her heart starts beating fast ) no I'm not ( she manages to say)

Josh:( he moves away from her casually) good ..cause i can't even cook ( he acts normal) you should get some rest, good night ( he goes downstairs)

Selena:what just..?( She asks herself in confusion before going into the room)

THE NEXT DAY, SELENA IS AT THE DINING TABLE HAVING HER BREAKFAST IN HER PIJAMAS WHEN JOSH WALKS IN WEARING A T SHIRT AND SHORTS

Josh: Morning( he sits opposite her)

Selena: Morning

Josh: did you sleep well( the chef walks to him)

Chef: the usual sir?

Josh: yes thank you ( he nods and smiles)

Selena: you weren't there so it was great( she smiles broadly)

Josh:( he raised his eyebrows) really? Fair enough... are you going to work today?

Selena: no,you?

Josh: nope ( the chef brings a cup of tea and a small cake) thank you( he sios the tea)

Selena: oh and be going to a filming site for a month or two, we're shooting a movie and............

Josh: i know ( he interrupts her then sio his tea)

Selena: did i tell you? ( she asks looking confused)

Josh: nope ,you forget i have my ways ( he smirks)

Selena:oh right i forgot, Joshua Bayer always putting his nose in other people's business

Josh: you're my wife ,it is kinda my business

Selena: would it have killed you to just let me tell you

Josh:maybe

Selena:well maybe it should ( she stands up and starts walking out)

Josh: why do you always do that( he turns to face her)

Selena: ( she turns to face him ) what?

Josh: run away when you can't handle a conversation ( he smiles mischievously)

Selena: f**k you josh( she walks out)

Josh: really? ( He laughs)

LATER THAT DAY-SELENA IS IN THE ROOM OPERATING HER LAPTOP

Selena: God!! What the hell is that noise ( she packs her hair up and walks out of her room following the sound she' s hearing to josh' home office,she opens the door and sees Max and Josh playing video games and blocking thier eyes with loud headsets playing rock music) hey!!( She yells but none of them hear her,she walks up to them and turns off the TV)

Max:No,no no i almost beat this dush bag( he points at josh) what gives( he stoos as he notices selena) oh hey pretty lady ,it's been a while

Selena: don't call me that( she answers sharply)

Max: what ?, No hey maxy for me? ( He teases taking off the head set)

Josh: ( takes iff his headset) can you two not start? ( He walks to his desk and sits down)

Selena: why is he even here josh

Josh: cause his my brother ( he says indifferently)

Selena:and I'm your wife,( she walks to him and puts on a serious face) get him out

Max: it doesn't work like that missy.. besides didn't he tell you that today is Tipsy Tuesday

Selena : what( she says with no interest)

Max: Tipsy Tuesday is a day when my brother and i drink until we get ...

Selena: Tipsy?( She folds her hands)

Max: well yeah

Selena : really? ( She puts on a thoughtful look and sits on the couch and smiles) let's get drinking then

Josh:no

Selena: what do you mean by no

Josh: i mean no you are not drinking

Max: don't be a downer josh,if the lady wants to have a drink let her

Josh: don't interfere max,i said no

Selena : frankly i don't care what you say , I'm drinking if i want to and i goddamn want to ( she stares at him indifferently)

Max: I've always liked this chick( he smiles in satisfaction)

COUPLE OF HOURS LATER

( selena is laying on the couch in the office totally drunk )

Josh:(walks to her)come on let's take you to the bedroom you need a shower( he carries her and heads to their room)

Selena: we could shower together ( she wraps her hands around his neck)

Josh: you're drunk ( he laughs)

Selena: no I'm not ( he places her on the bed)

Josh: I'll prepare your bath ( he turns to leave but she pulls him to her and kisses him deeply)selena i...( He tries to resist but she interrupts him with another kiss,finally she let's him go but realises that now the one holding her,..the kiss lasts for a while before she pushes him away annd runs to the bathroom and starts throwing up) ...Josh what the hell are you doing?(he rubs his head)
