What the hell is going on

Act 1 scene 3

(Selena wakes up with a light headache,she turns around and feels another body on the bed beside her,she stops, feeling his hot breath on her face,she slowly opens her eyes and sees josh staring right at her)

Josh: good morning ( he smiles at her)

Selena:( she widens her eyes) what the hell( she jerks up) it's morning... it's morning?( She notices that she's back in her pijamas) what..what . what the hell is going on ( she turns to josh)

Josh: yesterday was great, don't you think( he smirks and walks over to the window)

Selena:what did you say?

Josh:( he raises his eyebrows) you don't remember?( He chuckles) i told you not to drink

Selena:no no no no no no no!!!( She stands up and paces around) what did you do josh( she stared at him seriously then throws herself on the bed burying her head in the pillow)

Josh:why are you so scared ( he laughs)

Selena:(she raised her head looking all red) why the heck are you laughing?

Josh: be reasonable Selena,if we had s*x , you'd definitely know,i just had the maids change you clothes after you threw up ( he puts on a teasing smile and then walks out)

Selena: God!!!!!( She punches the bed angrily)

(She freshens up and goes downstairs in black jumpsuit, sneakers,her backpack and her hair packed up)

Josh:where are you going? ( He comes out of tue kitchen with a beer in his hand)

Selena:work( she walks past him,into the kitchen and to the fridge)

Josh: hmm liar... I checked your schedule and you're totally free till Friday ( he drinks from the beer)

Selena:( she carries an apple from the fridge) mind your business Josh

Josh: who's the new guy

Selena: anybody but you( she walks past him he follows her as she walks to the door)

Josh: really( he nods) you didn't say that last night ( he teases)

Selena: ( she stops then shakes her head) shut up josh , you're disgusting... anyway since you won't let it rest I'm going over to lily's

Josh: what now, is my wife running away from me ,did i not do well last night?( He teases then sips his beer)

Selena: your not gonna let it rest are you?

Josh : nope..bye ( he waves at her)

Selena: (she rolls her eyes) screw you josh( she leaves)

Fade

( At Lilly's house, Selena and Lily are playing a card game)

Lilly: Bam! I win again ( she laughs and Selena forces a laugh) sel are you ok? You seem pretty off today

Selena: I'm good.. really

Lilly: ( she looks at Selena in disbelief) okay are you hungry ,lets grab a bite... where do you wanna go

Selena; do we have to?

Lilly: well yeah , I'm hungry and you're killing my vibes...so food will make me feel better

Selena:fine let's just go to Bernie's

Lilly: okay ,give me a minute to get dressed ( she goes into the room and comes out a few minutes later in a black baggy jean and a big black shirt and a black bucket hat)

Selena: what's with the black( she looks at her in confusion)

Lilly: well i couldn't find any black jumpsuit to match with yours ...this is the closest i got

Selena: whatever let's go ( they leave)

At Bernie's -A classic five star restaurant,selena and lilly get a table and order some food

Lilly:God! how long does it take to serve food

Selena: chill , we've only been here for five minutes

Lilly: ( lilly puts on a distracted smile) hey.. hey, don't look now but there's cute guy behind you that keeps at staring at you( she acts like she's operating her phone )

Selena: where( she looks back)

Lilly: jey what part of don't look don't you understand

Selena: sorry( she faces lilly and rolls her eyes)

Lilly: whatever, you've already looked ...so what do you think , he's cute right

Selena: yeah ,he is , but how can you be so sure he's looking at me ? ( A waiter walks up to them with a bottle of expensive wine)

Waiter:for the lady ( he looks at Selena as he places it on the table and opens it)

Selena: wait i didn't order this ( she look a little confused)

Waiter: it's on the gentleman at the far end( he signals to the guy yhey were looking at) may i ? ( He tilts the bottle to her glass)

Selena: i don't know ...i.....i..( sge stammers)

Lilly: oh don't be so modest girlfriend.... (To the waiter)go ahead ( he pours the wine into both thier cups and leaves)

Selena: lilly

Lilly: what?( She asks with an innocent smile)

Selena: i feel like this is wrong

Lilly: why

Selena; I'm married

Lilly: and?( She pretends to be confused) oh come on it's just a drink you're not fornicating...when did you become so uptight?

Selena: but ee both know he's taking a move on me

Lilly: yeah so what?

Selena: if i drink it, I'm just sending an invitation

Lilly : ( she groans) seriously sel ? All this talk just for a bottle of wine..... you're overthinking thinks...in fact i think tou actually need this drink( she sips the wine in her glass)

Selena:fine .. I'll shut up

Lilly: thank you ( they finish their first glass and refill again) s**t!!( ( She chokes on her drink)

Selena: what ... what's the problem?

Lilly: ( she looks behind Selena still coughing) i gotta go to the bathroom ( she smiles wierdly then leaves)

Jack: hi ( a guy walks up to her table ) I'm jack( he stretches out his hand)

Selena: I'm Selena..thanks for the drink( she smiles wierdly realising why lilly left her " lilly you b***h" she thinks to herself)

Jack:May i join you

Selena: actually my friend will be back any minute,she just went to the bathroom

Jack: okay ..um can i have your number?..its just that you are very pretty...... and I'll love for us to maybe grab dinner sometime

Selena:look thanks for the compliment and all but i don't wanna lead you on or something,...... I'm married

Jack:(he looks a little surprised) really?...okay then we can be good friends ( he smiles)

Selena:( thinks for a while) okay then ( she collects his phone and puts down her number)

In the bathroom, lilly is sitting at the corner on the floor operating her phone

Selena:(she barges in) Nice going lilly

Lilly:(she is startled) heyy girlfriend ( she laughs nervously) um... Just came out of the bathroom ( she stands up and dusts herself)

Selena: we're leaving ( she turns around and leaves and lilly follows behind)

Thursday Night

Josh is in his home office organizing some paper work when Selena walks in

Selena:am i disturbing?

Josh:Nah( he says seriously without looking at her)

Selena:i just wanted to remind you that I'll be leaving from the hotel tomorrow...gor the movie shooting..i already packed up my things

Josh:what time are you leaving ( he says still facing the work)

Selena; around 7,why?

Josh: I'll drop you off

Selena:why?

Josh:(stops and faces her) if you want our parents to believe that we're satisfied with this marriage,we have to do it well in the public

Selena:("why can't you just admit that you want to take me there by yourself and stoo making stupid excuses" she thinks to herself) okay ... I'm going to bed ( she leaves)

Early the next morning, Selena wakes up by the sound of her buzzing phone ,her alarm has been ringing for a while,she looks to the other side of the bed and realises that josh had already gotten up.she picks her phone and sees a lot of remider messages from Akeem and Rachel,she groans in frustration,its only 5 in the morning and she wants a little more rest,she rubs her head and says a silent prayer before walking into the bathroom,she must've not been fully awake because she didn't hear the sound of the shower running or when it stopped,her eyes widen as she sees josh fully n***d ,about to grab a towel to cover himself)

Selena: o .my .god ( she almost falls due to her shock,she turns around) I'm so sorry ( she runs out and josh stands there with a shocked smile)
