THE FUTURE FEW HOURS AWAY

"Andrew Andrew?, its time for class, why are you still sleeping till late?,"  shouted a worried john as he stepped in Andrews room, Andrew's room was three floors ahead of john's room ,it was on a Monday at Nakuru university hostels and as usual on Mondays john and Andrew had a morning lecture which began exactly at 0700hrs  to 1000hrs EAT  ,which they never missed and they were usually early, but this day seemed different as always Andrew was the one to wake john very early in the morning in preparation for school, john was always a slave to sleep and was ever late if it wasn't for Andrew, now being on a Monday john woke as late as usual realizing they were late for their Monday morning lecture contemplated to know why Andrew had failed him.            "Morning john I ain't feeling like heading to school today," roared Andrew as he pulled his duvet away from his face so that he can face john,   "what's' wrong with our usual routine buddy, is it because of this chilly weather?", asked john as he pulled away the window curtains to view the weather.  "No buddy, weather isn't an issue I just don't have the urge to attend school today,"   "talk to me buddy what's eating you up today?," asked a worried john   ,"I am just ok i just had a weird dream that i don't have to explain right now," answered Andrew discreetly,      "if that's what friendship is all about then for now we have to head to school and make sure we attend todays' lecture and save your worries for a next time, "said a frustrated john by now he was giving up on his friend , "no problem my friend  we have been friends for a while but for today honestly i ain't in the moods for school," "its ok Andy i respect your decisions ,for me I'll have to attend class ,its' better late than never and I'll represent you in class," "what are friends for?, thank you, I'll see you later", said Andrew as he felt relieved of his friends' pleas as john left he rolled into his duvet and got back to sleep
