The Warrior of Future

1639 Words
It’s been two months of the strict training regiment that Fritz had imposed to me. I’ve had a lot of information about my power and its trigger based on so much intake that I’ve been involving myself into. Furthermore, I’ve bolstered a new set of skills. Uhmm, actually it’s a couple of them, since I could put two powers on my hand to use. Sadly, this wonderful imagery of two-pronged attacks are not happening at the same time. To excrete one of the powers, I have to lose the other. There’s one second window for my opponents to realize this downside. In other words, It’s important for me to exert this prowess carefully, or it might lead myself into woeful annihilation that I could expect from the start. “Deliver your finest blow, Regi!! Where’s your affection?” “Eww, it’s gross, daddy.” “You keep calling me daddy... Wanna have a little punishment to your butt?” “No, no, stop talking, Fritz. It’s a no-go area for that pun.” This man, Fritz, is my mentor for the latest month. He engrossed himself with the business as a representative of Protego for the previous four weeks. I guess he must be fed up with those job to return home this early. “Any information from beyond, Fritz?” “On what sort, buddy!?” “Of my resignation, Fritz. No one sniffing my trail, huh?” Well, I’m worried that my defection would be the trigger of their aggression someday. Ellen might be infuriated with my decision, especially when I supposed to kill Maria for good. “Yeah, my trackers has them on their observation, but no harm was on their realm. Well, you don’t have to be concerned, champ. All is well.” I wonder if he notified me of the reality, or an ample size of bluffs to avoid concern. “So, when are we supposed to lay the siege, Fritz? Do you have an exact date?” “Uhm, We’ll gonna hold a war meeting, better drop by if you wanna have some thoughts. Come on, where’s the jab, champ? Feed me your smiley face, or I’ll stamp the ink to you.” “Yeah, yeah, here they come.” --- “The meeting is adjourned. Loose the steam and return to this chamber in 15 minutes.” In prior to the upcoming battle, the meeting room of Protego is in the heat of discussion. Every member of the committee asserted their options and rational conclusion to the market of their organization, but nothing in their disposal as the terms of resolution. Reginald and Maria are sitting nearby a vacant counter of the lounge and enjoying their life on their comfortable seat, while everyone else is on their distress due to the life-and-death assortment of the next grand design. Nobody would take this matter into their account without further discern of their own well-being and the others to enumerate, so this sort of freedom is important to their own mental health and concentration. “Urgh, I’ve never been convoluted in this kind of drill before, Marion. My head hurts.” “Haha, this is regular issues anytime we’ve gathered like this, Regi.” “Anyway, is it true? All of the seated colleagues of Protego was belong to Repugnare, sounds like an ill-fated vengeance to me.” “Not all of them, Regi. It’s the founder’s. Like my fathers, for example.” “Hello, can I join your conversation?” An unknown person interrupted their close-call discussion. She has an elegant outfit embedded to her figure, vividly resembled an unusual sensation of admire and fancy stature on her shoulder. “Hi mom. This is Reginald Lambardi, our new recruit. He is also my best friend of Titania. And for you, Regi, this is Melissa Dumaine, my biological mother.” “Oh my, a blooming flower is our aid. My husband has actively recommend you as the forefront of our team, you know.” “Dang it, Sorry for the inconvenience, Ma’am.” Reginald is bowing his torso to show his solemn apology. Melissa chuckled by the sudden courteous application from him and patting his right shoulder afterwards. “This man has manners, I like that one. Can I call you as Regi? My daughter right here keep calling you that way.” “It’s a pleasure, Ma’am. Anyway, is there anything intriguing over my appointment? I can presume that you are not here for a small talk.” Melissa is seemingly astonished by Reginald’s sudden assumption. “Haha, how can you tell?” “It’s your expression that telling me the story, Ma’am. Anything in concern of this particular mission to you?” “He is impressive, Maria. You should be his bride tomorrow morning. And no, not really. I just wanna see who’s the man of this time for her.” Maria, the person under the notice, went flustered by the abrupt proposition from her mother. “Mom...... don’t blurt of something so open....” “Huh? Are you talking of bride? I’ve got nothing on that department, I’m kind of shy.” While Reginald throwing a single humor to the talk, Melissa is trembling in laughter. Maria is groaning in silence by her constant barrage of emotional attacks. “He is a total clown!! If you are willing to marry, he is my first choice, Maria...... Alright, then. See ya in the meeting room.” Maria is got herself more embarrassed by her mom’s tease, as her face gotten red in remedy. Luckily, the siren in front of the room were flashing so bright, her bashful demeanor were concealed by the shine of the bleeping light. “Huh? I don’t understand.” “Yeah, we have to get back. Don’t be a slack, Regi, and stick with me to the end.” --- As Reginald and Maria going inside the meeting room, the big monitor were showing some footage from an infiltration quest. Reginald were taken aback by the person-in-charge over the video call. It’s Rufus and Lauren, all wearing their attire for work of the day in Minamart. “So, what’s in your mind, Rufus? Please, be clear on your observation from the site.” Rufus, as mentioned by the leader of the conference, speaking through the monitor in utmost confidence. “Ahem, from my latest surveillance over Repugnare’s territory, I found something being taken into consideration of them as an important matters to attend. I am convinced to sneak peek into their writings, and I found this as the token of my search.” He strokes the virtual board intensively to input the specified documents to the council. “Look, in a week, they would be under a heavy-duty renovation of the crumbled gate from the Pufferfish invasion. The bots would be concentrated within these circle, so we could find another way to penetrate.” A sophisticated individual is raising his hand in question. He has numerous insignia fixed to his right chest, marks of a decorated high-rank position of his kingdom. On his two wings, it is latched with several outlandish design of jewellery, proof of authority and power before his country. (Bzzttt...Bzzztt) The sound of automated translators is reverberating down the microphone below the bird general’s beak. As the bird speaks with their own set of wordings , the machine processed the words under human’s language in advance. “In other sense, we could punish the other side with our mass... Or do we need to disperse our focus? We have to know the exact numbers of those robotic goons before planning something out, Rufus.” Rufus got nothing on his arsenal to retort on the query, whilst Lauren just staring in deep to her former manager of Minamart in mischievous gaze. To ease off the uncomfortable situation, Fritz started to speak on behalf of his two spies on the job. “Per your question, Mr.Rudy Buckbeak, it’s been estimated that they have around 50.000 laid inactive, and 20.000 on the prowl. For the Repugnare’s member, there are precisely 100 people working under their banner.” “So then, we were overwhelmed by a lot of degrees, Fritz. How could we assert this mission without any chance of fallen members from us?” Fritz is grinning to the notions. “That’s why I need to assemble a bountiful of complementary armies from your kingdom, Rudy. In omission of Malia, we have Apes and Fishman agreed to aid us in this warfare.” Reginald's hands is drawing up to the air. Everyone seemed disgruntled with it, since he is a new guy on the team, and layering some devious glare to him as a matter of a test. “Ermm.... how could we convey to utilize the distraction? Based upon my own experience to their devices, they have a wide detection of their surroundings. Mr. LORD  was on their shade with a huge radius of communication, so this skirmish wouldn’t devise something out if there’s no further consideration over their main defense.” “Nice proposition, Regi, as expected of my boy. Well, for this matters, I’ve been in a hot debate on myself by a lot of means. Thus, we could attract their attention by marching our surplus forces to the mine. Before you lot asking some other questions, the main reason of this would be their android mandatory job to protect the resources.” Everyone is in quarrel among themselves. There are voices of agreement, along with a pattern of refusal to the opposition. On the panel of the videos, Rufus and Lauren are waving their hands towards their former manager, and chuckling with his cold reaction to the call. “Well, how about this? Is there any other proposition to the strategy? This is my final offer, since nobody has a great stratagem to persuade us on doing other things to settle.” “What are you going to do with the division, Fritz? Where is the place for us to penetrate?” Fritz is smiling in overjoyed behavior to the erupted question from the mob. “Haha, I knew you would ask this, Rizo. According to my simple plan, It’s more pertinent to infiltrate within their hollow fortitude. In other words, we have to fix our best abilities to the wall’s crevice. We have to prepare for the upcoming retaliation of Repugnare, though, since they are the essential part of our objectives.” “Why so, Fritz? Anything peculiar of them that we need to attest?” “It’s their bracelet. We need to have our possession of those top-executives handheld. Without these item, we can’t pursue to hijack the mechanics of Mr. LORD at all.”
