Night of Siege

“How could you be so dumb, Honey? I thought my father is the madman... But you...” Yup, I’m actually hitting myself up with a bolt of George’s taser gun. The end product is fascinating, since I could summon several string of static current all over my body a few hours later, without any need for outside impulse like a strike from lightning up above. This method could be moderately controlled with my own conscience, or in the other means of it, I can induce the output under the extent that I wished to bear. Unfortunately, the immense tap of electric current from a taser gun could be indispensable sometimes. Fifty thousand volts of it and I stung myself for hours. I can’t even rise up from my leaning position due to the cycle of jolt from the pulse. Yeah, I am paralyzed within my own understanding of the shock. “Hahaha, I can’t believe of how much a dunce you are, kid!!! I’ll have to draw back my apology from you, perhaps, since you fell responsive to the death’s grip at some point.” I am slightly in fear that this could end my life miserably. My own madcap convention nearly cost me a life full of joy with this woman on my right... ah, all for the indulgence of power and might. “You’ll need stretcher for some time, at least until the siege begin. Please, honey, don’t do this anymore, m‘kay? Promise me, or you’ll never have a chance to a date with me in the future.” She offered a pinky swear to me. I guess it’s not hurting to say a reliever for her once.  “I, on my family’s household name, would do these under assistance of expert and counsel beforehand.” “Not on my watch, Regi. I wouldn’t dare to give you permission over this nonsense.” “Well, He’s a fighter, Maria. I would say the similar for my babe, too. Hahahaha!!” Thanks for the pass, daddy. --- The massive combined force of animals have entered the jungle on the western side of Titania by sunfall. They’ve settled down for some time in prior to the penetration of the set of combatants from the other quadrants of the city. On the thousands of kilometers above the cloud, a flock of birds engulfed the atmosphere beyond the radar’s imagery to capture the city’s condition from the sky. The Fishman’s soldiers is roaming the territory, looking for any camp of scavengers and bandits to participate in the unavoidable skirmish of late. “Boss, each of the commander has affirmed their regional position. We’ll be ready to commence our attack by sunrise.” “Roger. I’m gonna send them a message. Thanks, Suri.” The small squad of Protego was lurking nearby the Gate of Tempest to observe the spot for reconstruction. A numerous light pattern could be seen from the site, as the android stays on guard of the place for awhile. “They are vigilant to the imminent danger. I wonder why they’ve decided to patch the hole right this time.” Reginald, in his cloak of disguise, looking upon the hole with his binoculars as the spotters for George. “This is the small-time mission for the past months, Regi. Our boss assigned several missions to keep harassing the same place, to prevent them for sewing their hell-hole in entirety.” “I see. I presume you might be on the stake, too, perhaps? Your far-sighted vision would be useful on this kind of objectives.” “You’re correct, partner. Fritz was keen on handling the opponent’s viewpoints of our great-scale siege way before we actually composing the team for it. This is usually my time and Rizo for doing the labor, you know, due to our traits.” George is locking his rifle, bracing for barrage of shots to the oblivious android a few hundred meters in front of them. “One on the left.” “Gotcha.” George started to pull the trigger even before Reginald goes down for scanning the potential enemies. “Well, you don’t need spotters in general, huh.” “Kinda. You better observe for any threat close-by. I could tackle this in a flick of my finger.” “Fine by me. Be wary of your surroundings, George.” “Uh-uh. Shut your mouth and decimate the few bots out there. They are gaining altitude of our whereabouts.” Reginald is proceeding to move towards the guards. He started to pounce over the one of the bots in advance to their maneuver, only to realize that it was already down by the piercing bullet of a rifle. “Ah, that pesky sniper shot it dead. Thanks for the play, Gringo.” “Your welcome, Regi. See how much useless are you among the droids? Just take a few naps and I’ll finish the job beautifully.” --- The night of small reconnaissance were ended in a flash with a few casualties of the mission to sustain. As the dawn briefly showing it’s prominence, the combined army has begun strolling forward to the wall. The group of birds incited a rain-shower of stones for the opening to the skirmish downwards, posing an unbearable threat to the miner bots below them. “They’ve started the distraction, boss!!” “Alright, we’ll go rampant in 20 minutes. Pack your weapons, guts, and shove it with your full spirit!!” “Raaaa!!!” The heat of battle from the cavern carried the entire bots to the scene of onslaught. Worker robots has been drawing their attention to the brawl and responding to the emergency call instantaneously, made them leaving off the reconstruction of the wall as a result. “Haha, they are being allured by our distraction!! Set the alarm, boys, we’re gonna burn the hole on fire!!” “Raaa!!!” “Hey, stop it!! Mind to change the roar? It’s cringe, somehow.” It's ten minutes before the march of infiltration. The army of animals has begun to dominate the entire battlefield. Mass arrangement of bots couldn’t efficiently handle the resurgence of joint forces from three kingdoms. The blow of tranquilizer darts could convey the upperhand to the land-dweller, but nothing would stand the might of the airborne assassin from sky high. “The skirmish is under our total influence, master. They are going to launch the siege attack soon.” “Alright, but please notify them of my last command.... do not break the wall down. There’s something scary hidden down there.” “Agreed. I’ll go there to hold them down.” Shadi flaps his bone-wings towards the direction of melee combat to inform the commander of the siege attacks assemblage. “What is it, Fritz? I have no idea such thing exists.” “Latent defensive mechanism provided by the warrior-scientist from the saga, Regi. I don’t know if Mr. LORD would be disgruntled to use it, though.” The chiming sounds from a clock reverberates throughout the vacant forest, an ample sign of assault to the force of Protego. “Commence the time-bomb explosion, Rizo!!” “Aye-aye, captain!!” In a flick of the button, the sticky bomb started to destruct themselves down. Consecutive blow of the detonation set a fixated hole within the wall for the squad to traverse smoothly. “Charge!!!” “Hyaaahh!!!” “Oh, this made me humiliated a bit..” Thirty person had proceed to enter the city in elevated morale. They drawn their finest abilities, set themselves in prime condition to unleash the counter over any sort of retaliation. “Wow.... It’s been a long time, but the city is transfigured themselves good.... Disperse!! Wreck havoc on every non-populated site you could find!!” “Yes, Sir!!” In pursue to the command, Protego’s combatant automatically conveying themselves into the group of three person. They are mitigating their cluster to the nearest unoccupied location for the diversion. Shooting arrows to the power pole, setting off firecrackers in the middle of the road, along with any form of vandalism and the like. “Fritz, where we headed next? I presume you wanted to pay a visit to the headquarter directly.” Reginald, Fritz, and Maria treading down the alleyway in the unknown district, looking for any adversary that they have to withstand. “Well, based on my own premonition, they would be engaging our armies at this point. I hope they would be prevailed to the goons, since we are heavily outnumbered by certain degree.” “What? Did you tell this to the mobs? This is suicide mission, then.” “No, Regi. My father has a strict regiment of training. Even if we got overwhelmed by their numbers, our quality could turn the table to our own advantage in time.” By the moment of their surveillance, Fritz is looking down to his device, overviewing the latest update of their marauding to the city. “Yup, they are on combat with the lackeys at this time. It’s apparently on 3:1 scale, so at least 10 person is still under the roof.” “Hey, Maria, are you okay? You seems stressed, somehow.” Maria is staying in silent with no words to reply. Reginald, in concern to her mentality, hugging her tight to ease off the pressure. “Everything is according to plan, baby. Don’t feel down about it.” “Come on, Maria, you have a lot in combat to enemies far greater than this.” Reginald is leering towards Fritz in a menacing gaze. “Ah, the lovey-dovey attraction made me shuddered a bit. It’s a joy to be youngsters, right?” Fritz move several meters away to look into the surrounding neighborhood, while at the same time Reginald keeping himself busy to console his soulmate down. “I don’t want to lose you so soon, Regi.... If I gone solo, this wouldn’t be a problem, but now.... This is me, vulnerable whenever involved of something as trivial as love.” “So.... You don’t like me to be here or something?” Maria is bumping her knuckle to Reginald’s chest repeatedly. “Ergh, you are so annoying..... Don’t be dead already.” At the time of comfort between the lovers, Fritz calling them to get closer. “Pronto, you two!! We have to set forth... A mark of our chance is coming.” --- After a few blocks of running, the three main perpetrator are closing in to the guest house of Repugnare. The eerie feelings of their lawn and the front side still laying intact, in parade with their loads of spider’s nest upon the wall. “Hmmm, My spiders are in prosperity, brooding in place. Who is in charge of tending their web, Maria?” “It’s obviously Merry. She is the brain of this place, remember?” “It brought myself to reminisce a day of those painful session.... stop bring nuisance to my life, daddy, I beg you.” “Eh? What’s my fault over here? I’ve been on my adventure for years, no way I could remember...” “Do not spread any jet-black spiders in front of your house later on, daddy. It’s all I’m asking to you.” “Fair enough, but who’s there waiting for us?” In front of the base, three unknown parties sitting down as the sentinel to the headquarters. They are in cordial chatter to one another, trading informations and secret in-between. “That’s the three musketeers from Serafina’s frontline. You recognize them, Regi?” “Just like the game taught me.... The underlings would be the side boss in time.” “Are they having some knife among them? If so, you could be the one to handle this, Regi.” “Well, you’ll have to appease Kino, father. Reginald’s power couldn’t soak damage of blunt punches. He’ll have his hands on the rest with me.” “Fair enough. Set your powers on hold, Regi, a huge party is on the date.”
