Always Remember To Tread Lightly

Hey, it’s me. I take deep breaths when I go for walks and stop to take in all the things around me. Like that bird that’s always on the power line; waiting for it to be fried to death and I can’t help but to think “When will this bird learn?” Then, I realized, that bird is me. I keep repeating everything, even going back to her, even though it means getting hurt. If I don’t… I’m lost.. I can't find any other moral in this twisted web that we continue to weave. I try so hard to fly away, but you've always made sure to keep my wings clipped. I don't how much more i can take of this, I keep trying to break free, I keep begging you to leave, oh little lost bird within me..
