He brings me in the woods, my head starts to hurt, *Howling and barking* I turn my head sharply,  "Stay with me serenity"  "What?" I asked. Placing my fingers on my temples, he places his hand on the barrier, "Now child, there is nothing to be afraid off. They're just protecting us." My Grandma said.  "Who? Who is protecting us?" I whispered.  "Become friends with us."  Why are all these voices talking to me? I look up and see this mans eye glowing red, trying to push through the barrier groaning in agony,  "LET ME GO!" I Screamed. I poked his eyeball, he dropped me, I quickly get up off the ground and bolt for it, "A wolfs bite is poisonous."   "But a Vampire bite is more deadly to a wolf." I repeated. How did I know that? What the hell is going on with me? I run deeper into the woods until I notice a house without its lights on. I would periodically look behind me to see if he was following and he sure was. I run to a two story brick home and onto the patio pounding on there front door. "please help me!" I screamed.  "I know you're in there! Come out Alan!" I yelled. Hoping that name would mean something to someone in here. I don't know what I am saying, I'm just going through the hoops. The door opens and his face looks so familiar, but he bows his head and I knew what that meant. I turned around and saw the man with red eyes, don't tell me I'm trapped. He walked closer, my breath being taken, now is not the time to have an asthma attack serenity.  I gasp for air, searching for the inhaler hoping I grabbed it, I didn't.  "Leave her Alone Simon, you got what you wanted." I heard the man behind me say.  "Alan, I am your pack master! Hold your tongue."  "That wasn't Alan speaking." Another man emerges from the shadows. Simon scoffs and leans against the post of the house. "Carter, Carter, Carter. Young Alpha, my dear son. You know what happens to commoners that steal from a world they have no Idea about." Images flash before my eyes of my Grandmother,  "This ring has a world of stories  behind it. You know child, I took this from a very important man way back when because of a secret I needed to keep. Not even you should know. I've made multiple fakes and one day, you will find it the real one." Grandma? I get a control on my breathing. She'd want me to be strong and fight off this man, she knew him and got close to him, stealing this ring for a purpose. "That ring, inside my watch, is a fake," I stated. I could feel my heart skipping beats, the fear wanting to resurface but I can't. I could see his lip curl, but a smile erupts from his face. I could feel someone grabbing my hand in support of me. I stood a little taller reassuring the man I was not lying. Memory started surfacing of the stories my Mom and Grandma would repeat a lot. I remembered the words they would repeat but now that I think about it, my mother stopped repeating them when she was going insane. The words repeat in my mind, 'Impel power' I felt someones breath crawl on my skin, it was the same person holding my hand. "Remember." A bright light flashes through my eyes as I speed through memories. I remember walking home and seeing my parents being murdered, that's when I jumped on the man with blonde hair. I was hitting him, I was poked in the neck by a man I didn't see was there, he knew I was coming. I fell off this guys back and hit my head on the table. Alan, how could I forget you? Thank you for providing the relief I needed to get me through my volleyball game and making me realize it wasn't my fault. My parents were slaughtered by wolves. My memory started going back to my Nan of her telling me and my brother stories of her past,  Ten years ago Nan asked me to sit on the story time rug with my older brother, she's going to tell us more about the ring that she stole from a man named Simon. She sits down on her rocking chair and smiles handing us treats to keep us busy while she talks. She starts with,  A long time ago I met a very popular boy in my neighborhood, who was very fit. He was, mysterious. At night he would run around through the woods and come back in the early morning. I'd watch him all the time, during homework, out with friends, even with my parents at the park with my siblings. He was everywhere. Little did I know he was inspecting me, wondering what I could be about. one day while I was at the library doing school work he came up to me. Sat his books down, I noticed he was a huge book worm when it came to history. I was going to study history when I got to college- that words a bit out of your vocabulary- anyway, he started talking and I noticed a fancy ring or band around his thumb. It was captivating, it told a story, the words that were being said from it  were dark, ruthless, and unforgiving. It would give me a headache every time I was near him. So you know what Grandma did? She did research on folklore, telltales and fairy-tales. I found a ring suggesting the very thing I didn't believe in, Satan's magic. Witchcraft. Mystical beings, all apart of evil. Fast forwarding by many years, I grew very curious by the stories he told me and I asked him what he was, he told me he was a werewolf. I didn't believe him but, then I did. When we were adults we began dating, and then he purposed to me with that very ring. That night he told me he would answer any questions I had. They were all about the ring that was now on my finger. He told me this ring was the key to being an all powerful werewolf the right of passage to become even stronger than the alpha. So I asked him why I was wearing it, not knowing he knew what I was. My mother calls in my brother and I for lunch, she never finished the end of the story, and I never remembered it until now. Now I remember my brother practicing his werewolf powers on me, impelling me to forget everything Grandma taught me. He told me to do good in school, never let my parents distract me with there drunkenness but always be my true self, caring and loving. I remember he told me that my parents never deserved to have someone like me and I don't know what he means by that, even with all my memories.  Present day  "She never loved you Simon." I stated. He grabs my throat, squeezing it, I understand that no one can do anything, but his grip is tighten by the second. "Your lying." He said.  "No, I'm not." I tried saying. He lets go, staring in my eyes, I know he is about to impel me,  "Find me that ring, or I'll kill your brother and place his head on a stick. Carter, stetson you're coming with me." he throws me on the ground. I can't help but cough gasping for air. I touch my neck thinking about how this could have turned out. I look and see Alan, tears streaming down my face. He picks me up and embraces me, his smell makes goosebumps appear on my skin. "I'm glad you found your way over here." He told me. I knew If I would have gone back to my house his wolves would have attacked me. I look into his amber eyes, searching through them for an answer, without hesitation I make my move. I bring my lips to his and press softly, he holds the back of my neck and pressed harder into my lips. When we part, he rests his head on mine and smiles.  "You know how long I've been waiting for this moment?" He asks. I shake my head, He looks into my eyes. "Since I met you." I smile,  "That was pretty mean of you to impel me to be your friend- think of nothing else but you, do nothing without thinking of you. I've never had that as a pick up line before. Your a pretty clever wold you know." I smile. Speaking of wolf, I have to go back home and see how my brother is doing.  "I'll walk you." Alan said. I nod my head, "I'd like that." I walk out of there home, the nicest one on the block I'd say and head down the road with my hands in my jacket. I hadn't even had the chance to change out of my jammies, he just snatched me up and out of the window.  I held onto Alan's hand as we walked down my driveway and I noticed Ryan sitting on the steps. Ryan quickly gets up and runs in my direction, not very far of course.  "Siren!" He yells. He picks me up and swings me around. He lets go of me and I saw his fist tighten, but I grab his hand, "I know what you are Ryan, please don't try and Alpha him okay?" He looks at me surprised. I place my hand on his face. "Simon had Mom and Dad killed for the ring Nan always talked about." I said. I told Ryan how it happened, and I didn't leave out a single detail, I tell him everything I remember, even though memories are still coming through in some spots. He begins asking me questions and I do my best answering them but it I'm not perfect.  I stare out the window, with Nan and my parents Dead, this house is unsafe for me. Those wolves that have been coming here over and over again are bound to do it even more. I'm a helpless human girl who only has courage carrying her. I'm scared to live here and even keep my eyes closed let alone sleep.  I hear Alan walking in the living room, I don't want to be alone, not anymore. I walk into the living room, "Alan? Can you stay with me?" He stops what he's doing, he looks at me like I just said the word 'neuter'. He opens his mouth, "Absolutely," He said.
