Falling For A Human

It was the same thing every day, walk-in, or even fly in, and everyone looks at me in awe. Young girls and old women gaze at me with lust in their eyes, men shoot me looks of envy, wishing their wives would stop looking at me.  I was so tired of it all. I needed something new, something different.  I need a new shiny toy, a new pet maybe. My current toys were pissing me off with their constant nagging for 'love' and such. I don't know what love is, I just enjoy s*x.  I start scouting below me, flying high above everyone. Everyone looks up at me, not even caring about what they're doing.  These people sicken me.  I muttered curses in my mind at all of the people cheering and yelling at me. I spot a girl, ignoring everyone around her, still shopping at the market. I notice she's not doing what everyone else and doesn't even care that everyone around her has stopped. I memorize her appearance as I get closer. I take in every little detail I can see about her and tattoo it into my memory, locking it away so it never leaves. Her beautiful hair is swept back behind her, her eyes filled with curiosity at the items in front of her. Her lips curl up slowly as she finds something worth smiling for and my heart speeds up beating against my rib, daring for them to be broken. Stooping down behind a bush I rush to put my clothes back on. If only my clothes would just form into or under my scales, it would make this so much easier.  I watch her from afar for a few minutes. She's looking at breads and fruits. She gives the man behind the booth a few dollars and turns to walk to the next booth. I walk up to her and put my fingers under her chin. Her eyes scream fear and dance with wonder. "Do you want to know me?" "N-no, please stop touching me!" She backs away from my hand slowly, then turns and runs.  Yes, she shall be my pet. I murmur to myself and stalk away. I had finally found someone to not take a sudden interest in me and it was truly refreshing. I glare at all the people still staring at me as I pass by. "Get on with your lives! f**k off!" I take my time glaring at everyone who dares to look my way. After walking into the woods, I start stripping my clothes off and let my wings out. I allow the rest of my body to transform and start a flight back to my castle, I must know more about this girl. It scares me slightly that I'm hung up, but she was something new.
