I just barely graze him but it's enough to slow him down. The pain it seems is too much and he drops the dagger from his hand grasping maniacally towards the wound. I get a strange sense of dejavoo but Ignore it. And brush his grasping away from my shoulder allowing him to colasped to the ground.
His eyes that were once filled with aggression and malice are now filled with fear as he brings his fingers away from his wound and noticed the blood. It's odd colour if someone were to show it to Me, I would pronounce it fake but it's game and state that it needs to be darker to be more realistic but under the bright lights of the office building. It's quite a light red indeed.
"Hahahaha" Kingston chuckles lightly. Laying back against the floor. When I finally get healed up, you're going to be so f****d up! I snorted, his left arm cut off and foot injured his not enough. I lift my short sword with glinting light in my eyes but I do not have the time to spare him my full attention and so I carry on anxiously as his men thundered the hallway. I ran out from the cubicle to leave the building chased by men.
I barrelled down the ruined stairs from the third floor looking to my left and right into the second floor hallway. My shoulder strikes something solid and fleshly behind me. Instinctively, I lash out my short sword before he can attack me first but with my head down, I am not able to move my arms as quickly as I should and he clocks my strike, grabbing my arms and sending it off to the side.
"Esther...?" A familiar voice speaks my name doubtfully, seemingly unable to recognize me.
"Tom, tommy Ryan?" I look up and see the handsome white haired man standing behind me. I didn't hear the foot steps of many however I could hear screams of pain.
"Thank Goodness!" Overwhelmed by relief, never glad to see a man ever in my life. His clothes were soiled in blood however mine was worse.
"What are you doing here? You supposed to be at the red door way to the maze". Esther questioned.
"Hmmph! I was looking for Tobi and I spotted you and Kingston chasing you. I kind of panicked and followed you but I lost you in the crowd. I searched through the battlefield and I saw you running through the stairs of the yellow house. I ran after you. You are a hard woman to find and you always been chase like children chasing a mascot".
"That's is because I am being chased! You know kingston?"Esther questioned.
" Not really but I fought him at the arena. He is quite wicked and a cheat".said Tommy
"He is.... Well never mind. We need to get out of here and head to the maze. I am been pursued by kingston and his men". Said Esther
"As for Kingston! I have not crossed part with him yet but those men chasing after you. I took care of them"Tommy said that proudly.
"Ok! Thanks but we need to leave now". Esther stretched her hands holding Tommy hands while they walked. Immediately Esther's hand touched the soft palm of Tom. His heart skipped beating fast to his ears, his mind blank with all his thoughts and worries faded away in minutes and his heart glady in love and peace. He follows her with out saying a word. The duo ran through the second floor down to the last floor out to the entrance door however
Out of the corner of my eye. I spied movement. I see red players climbing the stairs heading from the ground floor to possibly heading to the portal however we were not so lucky as the catch a glimpse of us.
"Yellow players. Get them". Shouted a red player pointing a finger at us. They pursue after us and we climb back to the second floor.
Tom held my hands tightly running through the hallway of the second floor with large windows on my right and rooms cubicle at my left however I could see group of red players holding weapons climbing up on both ends of the hall way to my left and my right.
"s**t! We have been trapped". We see a crowd of red players at both side blocking the entrance of both ends of the passage hallway. We standing in the middle confused. Tommy's eye scanning left and right for an exit. He reached for a door but it was locked.
"Hahahaha! The red players smirking as they slam their weapons on the ground and hard walls they could find.
"What do we do now?" questioned Esther then suddenly From the crowd of red players, kingston shoved his way to the front. He lifts his hand and said.
"We meet again young player!. How is your leg doing? The last time we fought. I thought I decapitated you.Tommy Ryan".
"Well, you seem to forget the horrible defeat you faced with the same leg you thought you decapitated and I like your arms too". Reply Ryan.
"Hahahaha! Well! It was just a game back then and no hard feelings but these time. It's more than a game and our lives are on the line here. We started off wrongly, Let's begin a fresh. I need the girl standing next to you and you can walk out of here free. Just give her to me after all she is off no use to you".
"Hmmmp! I don't think so. She is off plenty use to me. Not just use but very important to me. Why do you need the girl?" Question Tom
"It's not off your business however I should tell you. The reason you are trapped in these game is because of her. Her father is David mark the game creator and she has a price bounty on her head. In other words her family is the reason for your trouble and she has to pay for it with her blood. Look around you, all these murders and death is as a result of a self fish family. Even if she escapes, a bounty will be placed on her once found. Red players will find her and kill her. Now Give her me".ordered Kingston.
