Birdie's POV May I felt sick. Nauseous. I wanted to throw up. My head was pounding, and the air in this stupidly big house was getting thicker by the minute. I knew that’s how a woman would feel while a small human was growing inside of her. It was normal, but I definitely had to get used to it. Food wasn’t as appealing to me as it was before, and cooking turned into a fun game I played with myself called “how many minutes can I go this time before running to the toilet?” Other games were far more fun. Being one-month pregnant only made me feel different on the inside. My stomach was still flat, but I knew that would change soon.
