New Neighbor.
Moonlight lit up the backyard as woofy prepared herself a meal, the bacon filling the air causing her to salivate a bit. She hummed to herself as the sizzling and popping of the grease became louder and the bacon shriveled and began to brown. Shadows moved as the weeping willows branches waved to the orchestra of the wind outside.
She looked at the tree and smiled, thinking to herself how many years the tree has been growing back there, long wispy leaves brushing each other making the shadows play a game of tag.
She turned the bacon over to cook the other side evenly when a sound was heard coming from the other side of the fence that surrounded her home. She looked through the window and could see a dim light glowing from the house that had stood empty for so long next to her place.
