Dreaming of Becoming A Vampire

We all met up at my house after work and I made some coffee for our gathering. We sat around in the living room and we talked about the notes and what they all might mean. Then I got a phone call that causes me to turn white as a ghost.

The person on the other end of the phone said this to me: I know you and your friends are all together right now. I also know you guys are talking about things together. This is what you are going to tell them right now. You will tell them that this is dumb and that we are all over reacting to this. If not, something is going to happen, and I still will get what I want. The phone went died. I looked at everyone.

“That was the person who sent us the notes. He wants us to stop all of this and is trying to say if we don’t something is going to happen. He knows that we are all here and talking about the notes.”

“Okay, tell us what he said and don’t leave anything out.”

“He said that he knew we was all here and talking about the notes and the I was supposed to tell everyone that we are over reacting and need to drop this, or something was going to happen and that he would still get what he wanted.”

“Ok this is what I want to know, and I think it’s time that we all are honest with one another since it seems that we all are in this now. He seems to think that we are all hiding something from each other and I think if we knew what he thinks we are hiding that might give us a chance in figuring this out.”

Everyone looked at each other and no one seems to understand what it might be that everyone could be hiding. So, I started it off.

“I dream of becoming a vampire and I done some family checking. Which I found out that I was related to a guy named Dracula. I have no idea if it was Count Dracula or if it was joke when I started checking into it.”

First person to speak next was Haven.

“Well I found out back in the olden days when people still believe in vampires and werewolves, witches that it was some of my family that would have to go and hunt them down. They would sometimes believe that they had power that they knew when they were near one of those things. They called themselves the Hunters.”

Then it was ShaSha next that spoke up.

“I have a long line a shape shifting in my family. It doesn’t show up in every generation and may not hit right away. I found out that I can shape shift when I was sixteen years old. I can shift into different types of cats.”

Then Dillion spoke next.

“I’m a werewolf been that way since I was born. I can turn when I want to, but I still have to turn every full mood as well.”

We were all shocked and couldn’t believe what we all found out about each other. Then I noticed that we were missing someone and all of us were not here. I looked at everyone and asked where Sami is. No one seems to know where she was since she didn’t have to work today.

“Do you think we should call her or wait till morning when she comes into work and try and talk to her then?” Adam spoke up.

“I think it would be best if you wait and see what we should do. We now know what we think he know about all of you.” Then Dillion spoke up.

“Then what does he want with you?”

“I am not sure but when my brothers get here we will find out. They should be here in a day or two. Hopefully with all of them here we will be able to find out all the answers to our problems. But I can tell you I think I know why he is after me.”

“What would that be?” That would be what Haven asked.

“He thinks my brothers and me are Vampires.”

“Well are you a vampire Adam?”

“Kenzie this is something I have wanted to tell when we were a lone. But yes, I am a vampire.”

I fell back into my chair and looked at him in shock.

“I wanted to tell you, but I didn’t know how, and I didn’t want to lose you when I just found you. There is more that I need to tell you, but I don’t think you are ready to hear it just yet with everything else that is going on. I am not sure how you will take it right now.”

“Ok we will talk some more after everyone leaves. I am still worried about Sami. I just need to know she is safe and that who every is doing this hasn’t tried to do anything to her.” Haven spoke up.

“I will go by Sami’s house to check on her and let her know that we all need to talk to her at work in the morning. Then I will say it is an employee meeting at the café.”

“Sounds good I to me.”

Then they left so I could finish talking with Adam about what he told me. I turned to him and looked at him.

“Okay spills it now.”

“Come and sit down and let me explain all that I can at this point.”

“What do you mean you can only explain so much right now?”

“I have to wait for my brothers to get here to help me on some it. Sam being the oldest has some knowledge about things like this. So, I can tell you as much as I know and understand myself.”

“Ok, I think I can deal with that.”

“Well this may be hard for you. I know something’s about you that you may not know. One you are related to Count Dracula and you have some vampire blood in you. The thing is that you must be bitten while having s*x with another vampire to become a vampire. You won’t die like it you were turn by a vampire just by the bite and exchange of blood. Now with you being already somewhat of a vampire you can still have children someday. Now here is the part I am not sure how you will take this. You and I are mates. We are meant for each other. Now how that all works I have no idea, so that is the part I will have to wait on Sam to get here to help us both understand that. Plus, I think Trent’s mate is here somewhere. He says since he found out he was coming here he has been having dreams of this girl but can’t really make her out. So that also brings another problem here if we don’t find out who is doing this it can cause problems for Trent as well.”

“This is a lot for me to take in.” “I know, and I am sorry for how it has been dropped on you.”

“Ok, I have some question about all of this. One is how do you know we are mates? How do you know all I have to do is have s*x and be bitten during it to bring my vamp out? If that is true, then why not do it to me the other night?”

“That is a lot of questions and I will answer them the best I can. Well I wasn’t sure if you were ready for any of this, so I didn’t want to tell you any of this. Second, I have been dreaming of you for months and a vampire only dreams of their mate before they are about to meet. I didn’t want to bite you on our first love making and then must try and explain all the changes that you will start to feel after it happens. I wanted you to have a choice in this and I still want you to have a choice in this. If you choose not to be my mate and I will keep you safe but from a distance and I will try and let you be. If you choose to be my mate and make me the happiest man around, then we will not only do the vampire thing, but I will also want you to become my wife. I would never try to make you be my mate. I do have to tell you that we have started the mating process since we made love last night. That is why I asked if you were sure you really wanted to do that. Plus, since you didn’t have all the information that is another reason why I didn’t bite you. Now you know most of everything about you and I and we still have a long day ahead of us in the morning. Do you want me to go home or sleep in the guest room tonight, so you can have time to think?”

“No, I don’t want you to sleep at your house and I don’t want you to sleep in the guest room. I want you in my bed where you belong. You are not going to drop all of this on me and think you are going to get off that easy and leave me alone in my bed.”

“I would gladly take any punishment from you and just, so I never have leaved you alone in your bed if that is not what you want.”

He walked over to me and kissed me.

“I will make this up to you.”

“You are no longer going to keep things from me if we are to be mates then you must tell me everything no matter what. Do you understand?”

With a smile on his face.

“Yes, I totally understand you my sweet.”

Off to bed we went. We woke up to someone knocking on my door screaming. Adam ran to the door with me and we open it up to find Sami standing there. I grab her and pulled her inside to sit down at the couch. We got her too common down, so we could talk with her and find out what was wrong.

“Sami, we need you to tell us what is wrong.”

“I had a dream that some men are coming to kill all of us. Then I found this note stuck on my door when I woke up.”

Her note read like this: I know what you are and what your friends are. You are the last to know what your friends are hiding. You are in great danger a long with Kenzie. You have things that are coming for you. You must watch your back with one of your friends and her long-lost sister. Their group is looking to kill you all. Betray your friends first and have a chance to live a little longer.

“Wow your note has some different information then the rest of our notes had.”

“What do you mean the other notes?” Sami asked.

“Well let’s get to the café and talk with everyone and we can feel you in on everything when we get there.”

“This way with all of us there we should be able to come up with a plan. Figure out who is doing this to all of us.” Adam said to us both.

Then Adam and I got dressed and then we left with Sami for the café.
