Chapter 14: What is this~

Kiro’s POV

“A female name,” I ask, I feel my blood rushing through my veins because of the excitement. “Can you tell me what name she always murmur when she’s asleep?”

I can see how hesitant she was if she’s going to tell me or not, but I need to pursue her to tell me about it. Maybe this time we will have a thing that can be leading us to the truth.

“I don't know if I hear right but it sounds like Dyla? Dina? I can’t hear it clear because she was crying in a nightmare every time she uttered that name.” She said, “Also, yesterday I am with my friends doing a live streaming you can watch it and see the time and date as evidence that I am not with her yesterday night.” She added.

They all have solid evidence, but what if this evidence is not really solid? I take note the name she said and glance at them one by one.

Who among them that can kill their friends in split of seconds? But no matter I think about it, it was make perfectly and it will be done by couple of hours to be done.

“Do you know a nurse student who is close to the victim?” I ask, if I base on how the culprit cut her body; it’s perfectly done as if someone in profession did it.

But in my disappointed all of them shake their heads.

“I don't see anyone talking to her from the med department; Ashley isn't that friendly either so she has very few friends.” The boyfriend is the one who said that.

“I just nodded at his answer, "how about the other, didn't you notice that she was talking from a different department or something like a stalker?" I looked at her female friends but they were also shaking their heads.

“We don’t know about the stalker, she’s so secretive about her personal information and also she’s not friendly like what his boyfriend said so it so impossible for her to have a friend in different departments.” One of them answered.

“Then, if you can’t give information about Ashley, do you have time also in Christian? As I know you guys are with him that night before he died?” How can we know if your guys are innocent or someone potion him or something like drugs?” I suddenly said that shocked them.

“What do you mean? Are we a prime suspects too about what happened to Christian?” One of them asks, it was obvious on its face that she could not believe what she heard.

“Yeah, that is correct. You guys can see on the CCTV footage at the entrance, you guys went to his room that night and you left there late at night. Can you explain about it?” I said and did not miss anyone reaction.

“Then if you can see us in the CCTV footage you can also see that Christian is without us when we leave, then he back alone meaning he’s okay and we did not poison or drugs him!” One can't really help but express her frustration at her involvement in the case.

Whoever it is, it is inevitable to get angry and lose patience if there is not only one case involving their name in just 24 hours. In front of me, she is the one who often answers and it is obvious that she is not really guilty of anything that involves her name.

But I can’t trust the thing I see only my eyes, I still need an evidence that they are innocent in the two crime happened that unfortunately they got involve.

“Yes, I saw that he took you out of the dormitory and also returned immediately to his room, but what if one of you used drugs for a long time before feeling the effect on the body?” Again I said reason for Ashley's boyfriend to speak as well.

"Christian sent us there because he doesn't have a roommate so we were able to party without disturbing someone, why would we kill our friend?" He asks me. I also feel annoyed in his voice.

“I don’t know, that is why I am doing some interview to know what was really happening. If you want to know or help the two of your friend to have some justice then help me to have a lead toward to the real culprit.” I put my little notebook on the table. “Don’t hesitant to help us to solve this case as soon as possible, we still don’t know if the culprit will stop or someone will die again.”

They looked at each other and sighed.

“Okay, we will help you if we see something strange, but how can we know that you really trying to solve the crime and you don't just pretend that you want?” It looked straight into my eyes as he asked.

“I won't waste my time here at the University if I don't want the case to be solved.” I seriously said. “Here, you can put your name and contract information here.” I told them to write their name in my book.

They are just quiet while writing.

It's a good thing they get all satisfy to my explanation and gave to me.

But I can’t still to let my guard down, I still not believe that all of them is innocent how Christian and Ashley.

“Here is our contract information, if you need another interview to know more information like evidence and something about Ashley and Christian, we are willing to do it just to clear our name.” He said and stands up.

When all of them stand up but something fell off into the floor.

I bend down to pick it up and I was shock to see it.

“What is the meaning of this?”
