El'Creepo

425 Words
Amy, what's wrong? Did something happen? Did someone hurt you back there? Marli asked, as she put the car in drive, to take me home. No, I said. Noone hurt me, I'm fine physically. But that guy that comes into the Diner, that literally never speaks, Well He Spoke! He spewed out way more words than I even cared to hear tonight! I'm telling you Marli, something isn't right with that guy! Amy, Marli replied, are you talking about Henry? He really is a nice guy, I swear! He would literally do anything for anyone, if he knew they needed it. I wouldn't lie to you, especially not for a guy. But Marli! Seriously! He was talking crazy, I mean like Really Crazy! Saying stuff like, he has liked me for over a month now, without Ever being introduced to me! That's not even possible! And he was saying something about his body betraying him! That's Not Normal Behavior, Marli! Not At All! I would bet anything, that he's the one leaving all those wild roses on my ledge! I just want to go home and lay down. It's been a long night. I'm praying that I'll wake up in the morning, to find that all of this was just a bad dream. Thank Goodness, that I'm now working nights with you. At least now, I won't have to be around El'Creepo! I understand, Marli replied. But Amy, will you at least think about everything he said to you tonight? Even if it does sound crazy to you, they were obviously words and emotions, that came from his heart. I know him and I know it wasn't easy for him to put himself out there like that. Especially, not knowing how you would react. He knows you have been a little spooked by his behavior or lack there of. But if I know one thing for sure, without any doubt what so ever! It's that any man who has ever met you, would be a fool, not to fall for you. You're a great friend Amy. And you have a heart of gold. I guess to lighten the mood, Marli continues to say, So yeah, it's not so strange that Henry has already confessed his undying love for you! For My Best Friend, Amethyst Grace Clayborne! She attempted all this, in a very unnatural, Southern Bell accent. Of course, we both started laughing hysterically! Laughing was definitely better than the paranoia, I was feeling, only moments ago. Thanks Marli, you're a great friend. Thank You
